How do you create custom starting gear/spells? I'm building a new Ascent project of mine that I call Might of the Tirasfalen, but I am stuck with my new ring and spell central upgrade system so I would like to know how to change what spells and items you start with.

Also - custom instances. Possible? If so, please PM me or just post a guide or something here.

you can add them in player_creatinfo tables... you have tables for spells, items, skills... if you add it in there players will start with those spells,items, skills, ....

How can i make the PET for hunter to be always happy because it dispear if u don't feed it is annoing .... how could i make it be always happy so will nit dispear any idea ?

Well it is posable.. but the best way is to find a unused place make some custom mobs with custom drops and then spawn then there. i know there is a great place for that in don morghe (or what ever it is) just make a portal to it and make ppl sing up for going to it..

probably a core edit... before compiling ascent you will have to edit it ... don't ask me what to edit... you will have to search

Well no matte what program you are using, open you connection and right click the DB and then click "Dump SQL file"
Just dump it were ever you want just remember it.
Then if you wanna upload it make it a .zip file and upload it at Filebeam - Free Fast File Hosting or anything else xD

Thanks guys, but that's not exactly what i meant.

I meant a *.exe file that when you run it, it runs an SQL database with the stuff already inside of it. So you don't have to use the batch file on the database.

Hey... i have a litle problem. i cant make a Signup page or a home page on my computer Cus i cant Replace the Etc file in my Windows folder some how (i got Windows Vist) i would like to know what the problem is cus i want my server to becom online so badly ='(

If you aren't an administrator, you can't modify \WINDOWS\ directory files. If you ARE an administrator, then I can't help you.

If you only intend on having a few friends join your server, use Hamachi. Otherwise, sorry =(

i have a question about Navicat. When i am creating a connection for my server it asks me for a connection name, a host name/ip address, port, username, and password. well, i dont know if im just completely clueless but i dont know where or how to get a host name/ip address. could someone plz help me out, cuz im so confused... to the point where i dont even know up from down, lol

This error usually happens when Ascent opens before SQL. Instead of using the "Start Server" button on the control panel, try opening SQL, Apache, Logon, and Ascent individually in that order. That should fix the problem.

Hmm.. Sry can't help you there :S dunno how to make a mysql.exe running your database.

Ok i would like to know if it's posable to make a .sql file that will fx. make every thing named "axe" to be "zaz" or anything else?
