Okay, I am trying to make a server using Herleybobs guide http://www.mmowned.com/forums/how-to...r-cretion.html
Just the thing, when I have downloaded the repack thing it opens in wordpad 0.o Any way of fixing this? or is there some other repack I can use?

Hi guys this is my first post... i have the Julianx Repack, MySQL and SQLYog, i followed all the steps in his guide and alot of people had the same problem as me, when i choose server on realm list and click okay, it says connecting to server and 5 seconds later it goes back to realm list, i kept trying about 20 times and it never seemed to work. Any pointers?

hold on in logonserver has something im not sure on that might be the problem.., the realm list port is : 3724, on my realmlist in wow directory has 127.0.0.1, and the adress in my realm notepad thingy is 193.217.5.252:8129, would that be the case that is causing me not being able to log in my server?

i put that in and it didnt even connect to the server, so i think it was correct originally but there must be something wrong in one of my CONF files, thanks for trying to help though, if u want i can link my CONF

Hi! Go to http://www.wow-v.com/ and go for the "Tools" Tab, choose Weapon or Item creator and make your item. When you are done, copy the text at the bottom of the page and paste them in a new query in navicat. Remember to choose your database type. If you need display ID, you will find it in your "Item" table in the database.

About the houses, I would try look for some Model editing
If you are not going to model edit it, then it's more complicated. The houses are part of the maps, and not objects. this means to add houses you would need to modify the client map files.

that needs to be in ur wow folder with a filder called maps next to it :P

you gotta be patient. just keep trying. also check your realmlist and logonserver.conf

Some Frequently Asked Questions.

Question: When I go to extract the maps a box shows up for 1sec then goes away, what do I do?

Answer: Do not just select your World Of Warcraft Folder, Open it, then hit creat and extract.

Question: When I go to start my server I get an error saying I have a Version Mismatch, What do I do?

Answer: This Mismatch is because you do not have the correct hackpatch. For example, if you have patch 1.11 you need hackpatch 1.11

Question: When I go to log into World Of Warcraft it says Unable To Connect, what do I do?

Answer: This is because you do not have your Wowemu.exe running. You have to have the Wowemu.exe running at all time while playing on your Private Server.

Question: When I get to the charactar selection screen it stays at Connecting, What do I do?

Answer: All you have to do is go to your realm selection and select your realm again. this will happen alot while playing, just keep doing this and it will work.

Question: Why is Naxx not working on my server?

Answer: There are 4 files missing on Naxx so it will not work, sorry.

Well i do wait a long time, and keep trying, but after a while, on the antrix.conf, it says server shutdown due to server inactivity
