Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone had the same problem as me, and knows how to fix it.

In my server, for some odd reason PvP is not working correctly, and when you go to places such as Gurubashi Arena it does not flag you for free for all nor pvp. If anyone can help, i would greatly appreciate it.

You need the map files. You can extract them from the client using ad.exe, or get extracted ones from people who uploaded them

No, like, it won't let me ACCESS the database to update playercreateinfo anyways! lol

Any help? I typed in all the correct info but it says access denied =(

Are you using a installed MySQL that you install yourself?

Or a "built in" as AC-web using? That you just start up a .exe file in a cmd window? If you are using this, you must start up that file before you connect to the DB

1) Okay. So no one can talk to the Battlemaster or Arena blokes.

The window doesn't pop up or anything and a sort of error code is output on the ascent-world.exe window.



There is probably already a fix for this but I couldn't find anything on it or it is jsut the simple fact that I may be on the wrong rev.

2) My teleporter NPC works fine for Alliance. It's great! I absolutly love it.

Then I started getting tickets from all the horde players saying that they can not talk to the teleporter. The teleporter is friendly for both alliance and horde. As I said before it works fien for alliance. On the other hand when a horde palyer clicks on the NPC the npc Window jsut doesn't open up. This is a real shame because I spent a S***load of tiem makign this NPC, gettign all the coords of about 50 different loactions.

This must be just a small problem. I have experimented by changing the npctype, flags and faction. NOTHING WORKS! If anything it will jsut break it for Alliance too.

How can I make an Item Cost tokens. I have looked at the guides here and none of them helped me so I came here. Can somebody tell me please?

Illuminati, I am using the one that came with AC Web, however I do have the window open it it doesn't work. I read the file that warned of this problem and it said delete these three things and run uninstallservice then resetroot or something.. It's all so confusing but didn't work. Could you show me a site to download a different MySql, that you don't have to open?

Go to the table "Items_ExtendedCost" and add the ID of the item and the token.



Does anyone know how to get a NPC to do a basic talk? (Right click popup window)

I tried npc_text and npc_gossip_textid which didn't work, and even editing a pre-existing one wont work.

It wont work to add the ID of the token. You need to add the exended ID. (Can be found in the DBC files).

:confused:Hello, I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to access my servers navicat database to edit stuff there like items... The server is hosted on owners computer.

I heard I need to connect via SSH tunnel and tried that. What is the info requiered and do he need to write my IP somewhere in Hosts file or on navicat to allow my IP, and/or create me a user there, or possible to use hes?.. Im kinda unexperienced and confused, been searching for hours on how to do it.

Allso, do I need the server and its files on my computer aswell or do I get this trough navicat.. Or when I edit it changes on hes computer? :confused:

Any help would be nice!
