[HELP] Compiling Ascent [HELP] [?] [+]

    Hey there mateys!

Right, I did not understand viters guide. I did everything, I try to open the file he says and well I get out of these two -

"Not supported by this version of... It is not a valid file type..."
"Invalid license data, reinstall is required?"

    Can anyone help please,
    I am using 2008 version!

    Thanks me' hearties! :P

Make sure you are using C++ and not C#

Arghh, so your saying I downloaded the wrong version of the program. The wrong part of Visual Studio, so I need to download C++?

Ascent compiles with C++, MPQE the DBC extractor, compiles with C#

You cant compile ascent with C# - I am only guessing that you downloaded the wrong pack beacuse thats (embarrasingly) what I did when I first started too.
