Your not playing WoW on the same computer that has ascent running? Try running it on the same computer that you plan on playing it from just for testing.

i can play it fine on my second computer, but for some reason it still wont work on this one...

it might also be a problem with my set up, i have this computer hooked up to a router and the router is hooked up to a second router down stairs which is hooked up to a regular modem... i mean, if that could have anything to do with it...

yep, thats all fine, it plays perfectly. no errors that i can see, it stays open everything is running, then i sign in and eff around, but on my host machine, it runs up just as perfect but it doesnt want to work =X

If you have a wireless card unplug the routers ethernet (on the 2nd one) and use the wireless card

hrmmmmm it's wierd, is this computer you want to play on on the internet at all? and if it is is it the same one your host computer is on?

both computers are on the internet, but what ive been wondering is that this computer technically isnt on the internet, its using the second router to get online..

that could very well be but make sure there all connected to the same network (i.e. if your wireless is Bob's Network make sure their all on Bob's Network) also double check your realmlist, if you use hamachi make sure it's up and the realmlist is correctly that number

*** Mmowned is great for this but if it fails go to Emupedia.com make a account and search there.
*** If that fails PM a emu expert (warsheep that hawkepo dude) there all nice ad most have helped me a lot
*** If a emu expert can't help you then i fear theres no hope but when i get back i'll continue to help

I have the exact same problem as you. All my ports are forwarded. My dynDNS is set up with the server. And all my realms are ok. But i cant get people connect. Me and a friend are trying to sort it out. If i find a way ill let you know.

I fixed my problem, thanks for all the help.

my problem this whole time was that i forwarded the ports to the wrong internal ip, thank you every1 for the help and i will +rep u correctly =)
