I bet if you mess around existing Flight Masters you can create your own

Actually, while some of it is server-side, I think the majority of flightpaths are handled client-side. I know this because there have been a number of times where my character had been flying, and after getting disconnected from the internet my character still landed like normal.

If that is true, it means that the only way that you can change or create your own flight paths is if you edit the client's data files and post the mod you made for all your server's members to download.
