Witch type of server do you prefer?

Instant 80.
Level road with 255 max level.
Full Blizzlike.
Blizzlike with a leveling road.

All of those audiences you list are pretty much impossible to attract due to you having no competitive advantage over the thousand over well-established servers.

level roads are redundant and are not fun. Try to make a server no one else has done with its own storyline if blizzlike and incorperate a non blizzlike pvp system for the pvpers.

I was thinking about making a story line into the level road and redo/recode all clasic dungeons well not redo just make them tuned for higher levels

Something different. Leveling roads are just pure boring, I dont like blizzlike since I got retail, I like instant 85 for pvp but only if its latest patch without many bugs, and even then they're just fun for 2-3 days to learn a new class. 255 max level never works out well and 'funservers' (9billion damage etc) are boring since that's just donatorfest.

Something like Xaeron or a GOOD rp server could work (epi/prologue did a nice job, but they had bad GMs, and their GMs had to do most of the work instead of making it automated/scripted)

I'd like to see a blizzlike server tuned for single player. All the instances and raids designed to be completable and challenging to one player. In the absence of that a really good player bot system that can be used in dungeons and raids to even the odds (i know there are player bots out there but there barely usable).

As this is almost ontopic, I was wondering if anybody found my own project interesting.

Quest-server, has a main story-line with smaller stories in it. Startup in Hyjal where you help the village fight off gnomes and thieves.

And no, it's not just quests where you have to kill 10 gnomes or whatever :-)


As for the question asked, I prefer custom (Scripted) instances, no donor gear and preferably a lvl-road.

I'm a vanilla player down to the core, so im going to say blizzlike raiding vanilla servers.
