Update: Just finished playing a private match, and I am very impressed! Would it be alright to film some clips? This is sure to be a hit.

I know you aren't exactly striving for balance atm, but the Teleporting Dagger is bugged to hell. I just teleported to GastricPenguin's base and annihalated him. LULZ.

And at other times it won't let you go beyond a 20 yard range for the teleport (blink range I think). The item in general is just completely bugged.

I've zipped the client, but its coming out at 7GB is it suppose to be that size?

Uncompressed, my dotawow folder is only 3.5 GB o.o

Yeah thats what I taught....I can't see where I'm getting all this extra space from...

Then again I did download the original client and TBC, where as you downloaded the client from the site. Ill finish downloading the client from the site and just zip and upload that.

Yes, it ofc possible - it is alpha. We have bug reporting in forum. Please write here and we`ll fix it asap.

Dota client is riped wow 2.3.3 TBC client (in original about 7gb)
now 3.5
later when we finish with hero / building /creeps models , we`ll cut it more .
I hope we`ll have client with 1-1.5 gb size.

Nice work you have made here Dota1wow but you should try to get some ppl to make the DoTa Map for you in wow so you don't need to use AB. But Good Luck with this

We thought about it , but delayed this task. When we done main gameplay acceptable for beta - then we can start this big task.

The videos look AMAZING. I'm hoping to be able to get on the server within 2-3 days, and from what I hear its really amazing. I've only got one question, why the 2.3.3 client? Wouldn't 2.4.3 be easier? Or is it just because 2.3.3 was believed to be much more stable?

2.3 because we have 2.3 supported server core we do not write support for 2.4 and greater. And I don`t think what it so big difference - any version will be "old" in few month. So 2.3 TBC have enough graphics for dota and have not so big size like 3.x.x

I just ask because its easier for people to patch to 2.4.3, and a Trinity core is probably the most stable 2.4.3 core there is. But it doesn't matter, I'm still going to play there, lol.

Looks good, but I got a bit frustraited at first:

- I couldn't find where other heroes were until I clicked on other npc's at the start
- Some items (such as eaglehorn) I could not find anywhere
- There should be a easy mode (it took me 2 hours to do a game where it was just me vs nobody)

Not just files - we cleaned mpq`s , no easy way to save space


PS:

- We have only ~10 heroes work
- Eaglethorn in secret shop
- No easy mode till we make balance , without balnce - easy mode is waste of time
