ahhhh... rember the days when we had antrix those where the days... 2.1.0 still have the server on disk... anyway ya mangos sucks but it is stable but it makes wow look all distorted...

btw, anyone noticed that the "stable" phrase seems to have moved from arcemu to mangos?
And now mangos is confusing or just sucks.

I Think ManGOS is as good as ArcEmu. And Yes The Command's Are a Bit Confusing... Although ManGOS Isn't As Popular Around People Since The New Emulator's Got Up.
ManGOS Can Be Good Fun Server's Too. Still i Prefer ArcEmu For It's Easy Use.
It's Hard To Compile Your Own ManGOS Since It's So Unique. I Think ManGOS Is a Great Emualtor Since They Are Always a Step Ahead With The Patch Support. ArcEmu And Ascent Are Most Used By Advanced Creator's And Stuff. If You Look At a Server Like The Spirit Realm You Will Get Pretty Much Alot Of Inspiration's What ArcEmu Can Help Out With. I Love All Emulation... ManGOS, Ascent And ArcEmu.
I Once Tried To Make a Whole New Emulator But I Kinda Screwed Over And Just Quit.
ManGOS Is Awesomme For Blizzlike Server's. ArcEmu Would Be Better For a Fun Server. So Yeah Pretty Hard For Me To Know What Emulator I Should Use.
I Have Used ManGOS Three Times Of My 8 Server's. I Got Really Confused With All The Names of The Command's So I Used a Command List The First Week's. Now I Use ArcEmu / Ascent Alot. I Really Like Fun Server's :P

It still depends on the user and what they want to do with the core/scripts and such and also if they have effort in config'ing stuff.

It's Hard To Compile Your Own ManGOS

It requires _less_ installed libraries to compile than ArcEmu. So I don't see how it's harder.

Probably a lot of people can't figure out Git, I'd guess... But it's way more powerful than SVN.

If you like to be on the bleeding edge with awesome technology, WCell is definitely the way to go. The guys over there've been doing a great job recently.

I like ArcEmu just because everything is so simple, at least to me. They make it all simple and easy. Mangos has always confused me

ArcEmu is good but before the release of WOTLK Mangos is the best and most updated and stable server in the net.
