dear dudes and dudettes. this is firstly a game, that is secondly played on the internet.
regarding 1.: if you can't enjoy the game anymore, take a break.
regarding 2.: every kind of information "leaks" sooner or later, if someone finds it usefull he will want to spread it, be it "da mean leach0r" or "mr. goodscript". it's not about money, but about freedom of informations. people keeping informations/ "work" to themselves have no profit because only few others can admire their work. people releasing to the masses always have to trouble with the "MEEEEEEEAN leach0rz". or have they?
i release hardware-hacks (since that gets my kink on) on several sites. few people ever heard of 'em. often i use different names. why? because to me, developing is about FUN and not about money, cockyness or any other reason.
so "bye bye" ncdb. if you read this, you did a great job.
but the way you turn is like "microsoft seven". i'll rip the looks for my linux-notebook and shit on m$. just as people will rip your (release for whichever core) and simply convert it. and if not.. how long do you think it will take until the next, big crew comes? fame stays with the pirates who fight, not with those who dig their chests so deep they can't find them themselves..
sorry, i still have to laugh my ass off remembering last year.. wasn't it actually, that NCDB founded after the "crew before" went underground? however, "impact = 0".
epic fail.
until the "crews" in this scene learn that the only might they will ever get is the one they achieve with sharing and caring with the community and ALSO "rivaling" crews, ( that ACTUALLY are your best friends because who else in this world has such alike hobbies as you guys?) things won't change. every few months a crew goes. next week the next "BIG IMBA FUTURE crew" is there.
it's a game.
i develop for fun.
what are you developing for?
