Vanilla WoW?

TheZaronz WoWemu was the arcemu from back then. There was kebold mangos yawn and a bunch of other that arent here today. I recommend mangos for a blizzlike since kebold was made in python and very buggy. Yawn was only out for a bit. and mangos still around since back then.

People would love a populated "Vanilla" WoW server, but for most people its not worth it to re-download the client just to play it. If you could get one working like Vanilla WoW with the current client, people would love it!
Edit: Maybe if you used a 1.12 repack (If you could ever find one, or make your own) and just set allow max build to 9999?

1.12 doesn't really constitute vanilla wow... It had all the new talents and a lot of the new stuff that went with TBC. 1.11.x is really the last classic wow. For awhile there was a pretty good pre-BC server that figured out how to get rid of resilience and went through and changed all the items back. It takes a lot of work though.

He he, I run a pre-TBC server and 1.12 was before any of the new talents etc. I've checked every localization and it's the same so...

The big jump before 1.12 was actually from 1.80 to 1.90 as a lot of game mechanics changed there.

I would love a classic server...Only if they had AV going! I miss the epic AVs. But i currently play on Cwow, they have it running on 2.4.3 but all BC talents are blocked.

Because I am so nice and I do love a good 1.12.x emu server, I have been doing some digging in the old mmowned archives. I found amrican's guides and some mangos repacks. I am going to re-upload these repacks n such and we'll see if we can get them working!

It's hard to get everything just right the big choice between a 1.12 core and 2.xx core.

In a 1.12 core you will have to fix a lot yourself. If you use a 2.xx core you have to modify it a ton to disable all the additional junk. Either one is a lot of work.

They are new and ATM in a beta phase where they are fixing all the bugs. Everything is classic-like except for atm its 2x XP, but it will be back to 1x soon

but is there any classic server out there that is straight up 1x for everything?

Funny that my server has the same name as theirs but my tagline is different. Maybe it's an homage as my server was out before but regardless I don't really care as it's a pretty common name for a "Classic" server.

We were 1x rates but set it to 2x rates 3x quest as it's still very nice with just that slight bump.

They are working =) What i was thinking of doing was converting the database from Pretbc servers into a sql so i can transfer the items into a 3.x.x server. Not just the items, but everything!! Good Luck Gastricpengiun!!

alot cooler actually if u think about it
