I'm not a server hopper or anything like that, so I will be on pretty much 12 hours a day maybe more.


How long have you played Burning-WOD? ( We will check how long if you are accepted )

Do you have any experience with ascent commands? If so what servers?
I have hosted my own server at one point which has shut down because it was too time consuming and bandwidth consuming as well. I know pretty much all of the ascent commands, and I have many custom interfaces with GM command helps with them. ( I prefer typing them, but sometimes it's just easier. ) I have also been a GM on numerous severs that unfortunately didn't go anywhere, but I am confident about this server. The servers that I were on the GM's wern't very experienced at all really, and handled situations really badly. They were hardly on so I had to do a lot of the work, and when they were on they would just mess around anyway, it was chaotic most of the time.
My previous jobs included testing, reading tickets, sorting out players that were a problem, sorting out events, hosting events, hunting hackers and thats all I can remember.

Why do you think you would be a good GM/Admin
I think that not only I would benefit from this to fill my vast amount of spare time, but I could do a great contribution towards the server. I am fluent in the English language and my spelling and grammar is flawless. I know of many locations that could be a custom level area, or a new GM island or a shopping mall, etc etc. I have had a lot of different responsibilities including being a GM on another server, different games, hosting my own server, being a referee on GameBattles, all sorts of things. I can program TO SOME EXTENT I stick to rules, I have a great sense of humour I'm not a hard ass, but I can give out the punishment that fits the crime.


Give me at least 10 commands that you think will be useful:

(1) .announce - announce a message throughout the server. - announce something important like a server reset etc etc
(2) .kick ( or .killbyplayer ) - kick the player from the server. - someone is causing a problem I could kick them.
(3) .forcerenamechar - forces a player to change their name next time they log in ( or out ) - if someone has an offensive name for example "Danielsukscok" I could force them to rename their character and kick them from the server.
(4) .ban - The fabled Ban Hammer. - Someone is a huge problem.
(5) .paralyze - Freezes or entangles or paralyzes the target stopping them from moving - stop a speed hacker or something perhaps?
(6) .gmticket get - Get a GM ticket - sort out the players problems; my favourite.
(7) .levelup - Levels up the target by the desired amount - If someone donates for levels then I could level them up
( .additem (item code) - Gives the desired item according to item code - If someone donates for items then I could give them to them.
(9) .learn - Learns the desired spell or skill according to spell or skill code - If someone is missing a spell I could learn them it ( as long as it's not bugged or glitched according to the rules )
(10) .recall port (wherever) - teleports you or the desired target to wherever according to the ID ( usually something like gmisland for Gm Island ) - If someone is stuck somewhere I could use .appear to get to them and teleport them to desires location, or just .summon them. ( or to get around. )

Ok i'm going to put this quick and short.

My old server went mangos, i hate it... cant do anything custom with it, I used to make custom instances etc with them in ascent, and this is what i'm looking for. I want to play a server now where i can develop custom instances/obstical courses etc but it must be ascent. I cant bear mangos, thats why i'm leaving the server i used to play.

Good points about me:
- I'm active
- I'm a brilliant Lua script and a alright C++ scripter
- I know the db, all the commands, etc
- I'm fast (very fast, lol)
- I can make things balanced so you don't need 50 odd people to do one boss (thats silly >.>)
- I'm very polite, i never get rude with people etc and i'm used to the non-stop begging
- Played retail for 4 years (since march 2004)
- Played private servers for 2 years ish (cant remember exactly, always been ascent)
- Active on msn and Ventrillo
- Got all the addons you can think of (but do most things by hand)
- Usefull for other things as well

Bad Points about me:
- I don't always see sarcasm
- WoW is almost the only game i play
- I still play retail occousionly
- My spelling kinda sucks
- I hate caps lock
- I hate mangos

Requirements:

- DB access if you want good custom content
- GM (admin not needed)
- Somone i can contact at least once a week who i can send scripts to, so they can import it into the folder
- Respect, don't treat me like a robot, lol
- Only speak english
