[MaNGOS] Complications setting up my server for live hosting (No hamachi)

Hello, and thank you for reviewing my thread

I Followed http://www.mmowned.com/forums/mangos...os-server.html and Board Message exactly as he said but my server still does not go live for gameplay. In my mangosd.conf/realmd.conf I bind the IP of my server to "matrocitywotlk.ath.cx" that I set up with dynDNS, and then run my mangosd.exe and realmd.exe and I get the error "mangos cannot bind to matrocitywotlk.ath.cx". Although, I did get it working once, yet it only allowed LAN connections to my router in.

    ~~BUT~~
    My Website Works?
MatrocityWotLK Server or Matrocity WoWs WotLK Server
Why does it work? But I can't connect anyone to my sever outside of my lan?

I will now post screens/conf to help anyone to understand and help me fix this problem. +Rep to the person that helps me get through this!

    Mangosd.conf Screen

    Realmd.conf Screen

    HOSTS File Screen

    USED TO SAY:
    Code:
    127.0.0.1 localhost
    192.168.1.66 matrocitywotlk.ath.cx
192.168.1.66 matrocitywotlk.no-ip.info (Tried that and failed)
    my wan ip matrocitywotlk.ath.cx
my wan ip matrocitywotlk.no-ip.info (All of this failed)
I tried each paired and seporate too. I dont know what more I can do.

I've forwarded all my ports, etc... Using Verizon DSL... router is...
    ActionTech GT704WG

I even tried DMZ hosting when I got desperate, what the hell am I doing wrong?

192.168.1.1 (Router config) Port Open screen

    Mangosd.exe and Realmd.exe error screen

I bet this is a small/stupid mistake... but I just dont see it...

Please tell me if I need to post more information and I will! I may not be the greatest at this, but I'm not a retard, so please be serious.

BindIp should always be "0.0.0.0" so try that.

You can also read this guide:

Okay, I'll check it out. Thank you.

EDIT: I've followed this guide too, didn't work for me. Yes, I followed it 100% accurately.

Okay, I have problems getting public too. Are you hooked up to the Modem or Router. Try hooking up to the router and make SURE there are firewall exceptions for all those ports.

I'm connected to my router, it is a modem/router combo, direct wire connection.. firewall is off, ports are forwarded.

Hmm, I think it worked.. need someone to confirm that has a Client build 8634 BETA.. the realmlist is
    Code:
     set realmlist matrocitywotlk.ath.cx
I hope this works, but then again, I dont... because I feel stupid :P I completely looked past this... I tried this method, but I didnt configure my databases correctly to allow it... Well, rep to you if it works welshman321

EDIT: Sorry if anyone tried to connect over the last 10 hours of this post, while I was out, there was a power outage, and my server was shut down by that. It is up now, if anyone would like to confirm connectivity

    Database: localhost;3306;root;******;realmd
    MySQL client library: 5.0.56
    MySQL server ver: 5.0.41-community-nt
    Added realm "MatrocityWotLK Server".
MaNGOS realmd can not bind to **.**.***.***:3306

I've tried everything, when I had my server up with hamachi i could bind the IP to my hamachi IP but I can't with my router IP. WHY not? The world can't bind either
    WORLD: World initialized
    MaNGOS cannot bind to **.**.***.***:8129

(Just to clear things up I starred out my DB pass and my IP address, it's not really stars)

You can only bind applications to an IP that resides locally on your computer. You can't bind an application running on your computer to an IP that resides on your router.

Just use 0.0.0.0 as bindIP. I don't see the point of changing it.
