    ascent-world.config

    the problem is that the logon server cant connect to the world server. if u read your logonservers onscreen log (if u set log settings to 2 or maybe 3) it will say "whuteverureipis" is not a valid ip adress aborting. somthing akin to that. so u must leave the thing that he mentioned alone so that the servers can talk to each other through a localhost connection(known too all computers almost as 127.0.0.1) .were u added "soulboundwow.servegame.org/24 127.0.0.1/24" you were just hampering the servers ability to connect to itself. also make sure the password near the bottom of the world and logon configs are the same. and lastly once ure configs are allaway done reextract ascent.exe and logonserver.exe and replace the existing ones. for some reasons the programs will not wanna work correctly after being configured wrong/localy somtimes. i once had problems with my servers recognizing each other then i reextracted my ascent exe's and it was all good. but make sure to change the ip thing back. also yes 127.0.0.1 is for ureself to connect only. but as i mentioned 127.0.0.1 is a 100% internal network inside ure comp. so its a great way to configure programs that use the internet to talk to eachother on ones computer. wich is why ascent has some things at 127.0.0.1 and some at ure server ip. =P gl hope u learned some stuff bout ascent after reading. if you have anymore questions about ascent i would be glad to answer via private messages.

    No, do as I wrote and it will work.

    This allows for the WORLD server to connect because its LOCAL.

    Trust me on it.

    Edit:

    the problem is that the logon server cant connect to the world server. if u read your logonservers onscreen log (if u set log settings to 2 or maybe 3) it will say "whuteverureipis" is not a valid ip adress aborting. somthing akin to that. so if you add ure servers ip to the aloud ip's on the bottom of the world config then the server will connect. also make sure the password near the bottom of the world and logon configs are the same

    What you posted won't help him at all, you're just saying what is needed.
    If you actually read his configs the remote passwords are the same.. so..

    I'm assuming you're behind a router if so do this

    Go to your router's settings and find DMZ.
    Next, click start > run > cmd > type in ipconfig
    This will give you your local ip
    Put this as your DMZ and it'll open up all your ports.

    Check your router's maker's website for instructions if you're having trouble finding out where your DMZ is located.

    All of your settings look fine, so I don't see a problem also make sure your configs look like this

    <LogonServer RemotePassword = "warcraft"
    AllowedIPs = "127.0.01/24"
    AllowedModIPs = "127.0.01/24">
