[Help] Custom Mounts!

I though.. is it possible to script a custom mount? if i for example wanna make ogre mount?
Can i then make a item that summons that as a mount? maby useing some kind of scripts?
Please link if there is a guide to it havent found any!

The id's of the ogre is:
Display ID: 14402
Entry ID: 5974

well, there IS a way to do it, but only under two conditions, 1: you have to put in in place of another mount summon spell,(not a problem theres a few random skeletal horse mounts nobody uses) and it has to be on a creature, unless you WANT to have your mount hold you protruding out of its arm

yes you can but i wouldnt know where to start ive tried it before and failed, really hard to do

Hmm, WoWGasm had a mount for level 60, was a mount, they did a core edit; changed the display, and it did mount you atop a ogre's sholder. Was pretty cool.
I don't think they have it anymore, was way back in the day.

im trying to do something similar, like you.

like swap the display ids on a mount.

the problem im having is editing the spell_1, id.

here is what im working with

storm saber spell id 23338

i want that spell to cast this display id 19607 *gem tiger*

so ive got the display id i want for the mount, then created the mount in the 'items' table, the problem is that the spell_1 id has the spell id from the original mount so once i summon the mount, it will summon the original mount that would have the storm saber display id.

im guessing i need to; change the spell to cast this display id 19607 *gem tiger* and not cast this display id 17608 *storm saber*

so woulnt God-Of-War need to do the same? get his ogre display id *which he has* so he would have to replace a mounts spell display id so that it will cast the ogres diaplay id?

The only way i could think to do this would be to do model editing but i don't think that's what you want
