    in answer to your comment spidey, READ the config file, TEST REALM!, also did you not read one guide for ascent servers? that is THE layout, the standard layout used in all guides

    well its not a "Test Realm" i have to use 2 realms cause i get realm loop if i dont

    This is not how you add another realm. It's a hacky way of letting yourself logon to your own realm.

    you can do that? never worked for me, oh............ never tried to do it after i managed to fix the firewall, good to know now thanks

    6 of one, half dozen of the other. Only reason to run a second realm would be if you were going to have friends (or whatever) accessing your server from within your LAN and don't want to go through the hassle of instructing them on changing their hosts file.

    True. We did that on our lan party. Instructing 50 eager gamers to change their hosts file vs adding another realm entry :P
