[Help] Can't Ban people in game! >.>

Well theres been some dumb people on a server Im GM on, and I can't ban them at all!

When I do .ban <account name> <time> It just says " Bans Character X with or without reason"

Anyone help?

and for account bans...

addipban: Bans an ip address <address/mask> <duration, 0=perm> (.addipban <ip> <duration>)

banaccounts: Bans accounts <name> <duration, 0=perm> (.banaccounts <account> <duration>)

.playerinfo to find out their Ip/Account name.
