One Fails, Together succeeds

We the people are into emulation. We can all do somthing. Some can script. Others can spawn. Many can unite together.

We all have our niche in emulation. I can spawn, and create waypoints very well, just like blizzard servers. Or maybe you can make Lua scripts for bosses. Some can even do C++.

How can we come together and make ascent and its database the best? Unite, create groups for waypoints, spawning. Make Funserver groups, Blizzlike and all others.

We all can do this, leachers stop leaching, start helping. Every one can help in one way or another.

There is two ways emulation can go.

1.Teams are made, About 15. They all fail.

2. A Team is created, They succeed.

I have seen a thread before asking who would be a leader of this ascent and Data base group? No one...
We don't need one. If we all are in a group release are work, then the owners of the Svn will add it. We don't need a leader.

Think about it think. Blizzard has ONE team. Called Blizzard Entertainment. Then they have groups that can do quests, C++, and connections and many other groups. We should do the same.

Tried before. People can't work together and groups are doing this just fine alone. Ever heard of Moon++ for C++, CodeCraft for Fun C++/LUA, LUA++ for Blizzlike LUA, ABD/NCDB for DB, Ascent for emulator. Lol. Its just people like creating projects without the expierence.

Have you head that ascent is not going to be open source. Or that NCDB had shutdown. If there is ONE team it can work much better.

No it can't. I love how people think this can work. ABD is the new NCDB. And I have heard Ascent will be closed source. But ever heard of patch-submission. Just apply people patches. Lolwut.

Yes thats what we should have in the team but have groups that would do what there good at, and also get leachers to start helping.

He** nah on the leecher part. They will just **** everything up. Like always. All I have to say is that its already happend. Everyone working together for one universal goal? Sure, that sounds terrific! But you know that people will argue, that people will disagree, that people will have ulterior motives. I'm sorry, but it just won't work.

meh. I know at least some leechers are like me, learning something to be good at to get out of leecher status. I'm currently trying to learn LUA to help out my server's devs, but it will be a while until I have anything to contribute.

I think leechers would be good for mind-numbing, monotonous busy work, in exchange for an escape out of leecher status.
