I must say that I respect the post about maturity level, unfortunately, yeah it is true that in order to truly reach the maximum potential we must all join, etc. But, one thing people are overlooking is that which was stated best at first, even the leechers have something to contribute, whether it be in the least bit or greater part, it's just how you look at things. 50 people that barely know anything can well overtake one man that knows a good amount.
It's all a matter of perspective, and I know personally from running my company, that there is power in numbers, not in singularity.
I wish good luck to all the other teams as well, and want to notify them that although we may be what some could consider rivals, you're still my brothers in arms in this war to revive ascent.
It's nice to see so many people can look past the incident that of which currently occurred, and admit the truth that some of us did help in it's destruction, but are ready to move on.
I've had my fair dealing with people that think they're better than someone else *points no fingers although you know who you are* and I must say, you'll be pissed when someone makes the new "emulator cores" you'll be using.
Just saying, get offended if you want, but, remember this.
NO MAN can do EVERYTHING by himself, you'll always need help

Nice Post Dracc. I definetely agree on your statement about multiple moderate knowledge is more useful and important then singular expert knowledge.

The reason Burlex ended the way he did was because he tried to be the Super Hero and take it all on by himself. Fortunately we won't be following that same path.

Well, I wouldn't call it "his end" but, the reason that he was so stressed was definitely because he didn't feel he could rely on his team, or something of that basic sense, and I say that not to knock anyone in their team, but to instead invoke knowledge. When you have a TEAM, it's a TEAM effort. However, Burlex INSISTED (against what most people believe) to continue to try, and keep the emulator his because I guess he felt as if he'd lose some credit or something. I'm not sure what the deal was, but I do know that no matter what happens, I'm going to continue working on ascent, not to steal it, but to make it what it can/will be. It's not that I'm going against Burlex's wishes by doing it, it's that I respect the amount of work, and dedication (what some would call insanity) that he had for his work. I'd like to continue to prove to people that just because the man that made something gave up, doesn't mean it has to end. Look at technology, all the greatest inventors are dead, and yet it continues. Why not let the legacy of Burlex, and his Revolutionary Server Emulator live on as well?
