    Modding startup created Characters

    Once again I got 2 problems that I just can't figure out on my own

    I use SQL and ADE (but its obvious ADE can't deal with these problems).

    1: I want to make it so all races and classes start off with the same faction.

    2: Leveling up weapon skill sucks. How do I make it so characters have all their classes weapons skilled already learned and maxed out?

    As always, I am grateful for any amount of help given.

    Faction may be able to be done through your database by setting the faction number as a default. And Search the forums for the weapon skill SQL. Or you can have a npc where people can buy their weapon skill.

    thanks for the help.

    For the rep I am guessing you mean make all the numbers the same in "factiontemplete" under "playercreationinfo"

    As for weapon skill I tried following the advice given in this guide
    http://www.mmowned.com/forums/emulat...ing-skill.html

    I modded it to have
    INSERT INTO `playercreateinfo_skills` VALUES('1','172', '350', '350');
    through
    INSERT INTO `playercreateinfo_skills` VALUES('10','172', '350', '350');

    Which seems to have given orc warriors 350 skill in two handed axes (I get a gray bar where the axe skill is at with no number, but a full bar), but once I level the character the skill goes back to 1. Any ideas on how to fix this?

    Try making it 349 out of 350 so it won't be a gray bar

    I tried what you said but it still comes up as a gray bar. I am guessing it is because the mob starts off at lvl 1 but has a lvl 70s weapon skill. Same thing though, once he levels to 2 or even to 70 with .mod level the skill drops back down to 1 out of 350
