    combining databases

when i combine databases (get another repack that has custom stuff, and take the database and add it VIA batch file in navicat) it gets to about 40% then IMMENSELY slows down. am i just not supposed to do this? continuing with errors should just add the stuff that you didnt have before. and it doesnt seem like im doing anything wrong, so whats wrong?

Wow! Either your PC is really weak, or something's terribly wrong.

But when you do it, in Navicat at least, there's a log window. It should tell you what's the progress.

i have hiediSQL, i think its essentially the same thing. would that work? and if not, i use navicat because of the easy "execute batch file" option, so how would i do this on SQLyog?

I technically am just using 1 DB, im just adding one onto the other. the way im thinking of it, just adding one to another should just add the stuff THAT database has, that yours doesnt. 'cause errors will pop up saying that you already have this, and won't add it again, but it will process the ones you don't have fine. either this works perfectly, or I'm doing something very very wrong. hahah.
