    Sky and Water rendering on 3.3.5a

    Hello, I am seeking help to enable and disable sky and water rendering on the patch 3.3.5a.

    I can see how it is made via console commands in the first alpha game client but I am not exactly a IDA pro and I'm not sure how to get the pointer/offset and otherwise I can't seem to find any information elsewhere though I have found the source of a program that uses water rendering on 5.3, but I haven't been able to find the offset in any thread and on Google.

    Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    Found this in two 3.3.5a dump threads:
    004F8EA0 CGWorldFrame__Render

    Now I just need to figure out how to use it.

    yes* 3.3.5a: 12340, just nop that address with cheat engine or w/e debugger you may seem fit

    Sweet! So do I need to modify the value of that address by the value of like sky/water?
    Where would I find those?

    no you nop out the call that renders water, its very basic CE stuff

    Oh, OK.
    The thing is I have my own DLL so I'm not going to do it manually (which is easier, right?).
    What would be the best way to do this in C++?
    I'm not asking for code but the C++ alternative to NOP.

    EDIT: Do I find the initial value of the water when it is visible and then substract or add it, depending on whether I want to enable or disable the rendering?

    EDIT: My first attempt at NOP using CheatEngine 6.3 didn't quite yield the expected results:
