Well i checked out what they teach (and sorry its applied computer science) and yes they teach c++ and java as well as all the little jumbly bits. But yeah they go in full detail about java and c++ as well as the rest of the compooper and its parts. But its mostly programming.

Yes, they'll "teach" you C++ and Java, but in my experience a lot of what they teach does not apply to real-world programming.

I'd be interested to see the curriculum though if you have a link?

For example, in the curriculum for a CS degree in UNSW over here, they outright ban lots of language features and impose lots of arbitrary restrictions on the design of your program. Sure, that will make teaching the course to the lowest common denominator a lot easier, but it's kinda useless in the real world.

There site is a little bit shit. Uhm, may i ask, in your opinion, what course would be best for real life application in programming? I just dojnt want to take this and find out its shit XD

I personally recommend checking out Full Sail: Game Development Bachelor's Degree : Full Sail

I went there for a degree in computer animation and it was intense. I had a few friends in the game design program and everything they were learning was real world application designed around video games.
