    I'm talking about this retardation:
    "0x1F0FFF"

    Are you telling me that whatever language you use doesn't have a way to name individual flags and then the means to OR them together so your source code is acutally maintainable and not full of obscure magic numbers?

    Ok, I understand =>

    PROCESS_QUERY_INFORMATION | // Required by Alpha
    PROCESS_CREATE_THREAD | // For CreateRemoteThread
    PROCESS_VM_OPERATION | // For VirtualAllocEx/VirtualFreeEx
    PROCESS_VM_WRITE, // For WriteProcessMemory

    Thx for the answer .

    Some of us (myself included) don't always feel the need to define the flags just to pass the ORd value. A simple comment works just as well, and saves some time and code. (Not that the PROC_ALL_ACCESS flag really ever changes...) Just because you're a nazi about certain code, doesn't mean we have to do it that way.

    Keep in mind, us C# folks have to manually define the Win32 flags. We can't just import them from WinNT.h or Windows.h.

    I was going to say that a comment is also acceptable as long as you convey the same information somehow. However I thought that would be redundant. Obviously not.

    However his code had zero explicit documentation and zero implicit documentation. If that's not retarded than I'd hate to have to maintain your projects.

    EDIT:

    The PROCESS_ALL_ACCESS flag DOES change. It's different before Vista than it is after Vista. You sir, fail.

    EDIT2:

    Godwin's Law.
