Go watch pokemon, Cypher. Or maybe get back to coding for us. Even better, maybe you could make us a pokemon model editing program for WoW? Anything but this, really, with each and every post you make it clearer and clearer that you're either incredibly moronic and have zero social skills, or you are a very successful troll. Either way, I think if you'd throw yourself off a bridge instead it would make a lot more people happy.

Oh and I can't help but comment on the "only stupid people dislike cypher" statement by Shynd. I'll walk you through this to the best of my ability. What does the mmowned community have to base judgement of a users personality off of? That's right! Their posts! What do ALL of cyphers posts contain? You got it! In all of his posts he either belittles, insults, or generally acts like a pretentious jerk who believes the world revolves around him - oh and don't forgot he'll minus rep you if you don't bow before him! So let me get this straight, you're saying that only smart people like a pretentious jerk? Haha, a trend is starting to emerge in Cypher and all of his followers. Ignorance is bliss.

Edit: That's not fair, you guys got zaelo to -5 rep? What about me?

Bossqwerty, I could give you -rep when you like... I really don't see rep as a constructive way of measuring anything in the first place but it compares the level people interact with each other on forums.... Let me explain... Someone with a lot of rep on this forum will not get the same amount of rep on a let's say 'Project Managers' forum, and the other way around.

Think I am a living example.

(And no I am not going to proof it, as I keep my business identity separated from my private-live, especially for folks like... like....... Well you know what I mean. Secondly I do not feel the need to proof anything)

A lot of rep just means that a lot of other people on the forum 'associate' with you, in this case only because of Memory editing skills. Does not mean that you have any other talents, skills or intellec.

My problem is that I do not think you deserve -rep.

O damnnnn, I did it again..... Why do I keep on posting here, besides that it is just good fun to read the responses of some.... Just typical.

Only legendaries+ can give -rep FYI. (And zaelo has -5 rep for being a very big leecher.)

Bossqwerty, you're obviously not a developer who has made anything public, or tried to help other devs. It gets to a point, where it's easier to make people feel stupid for not doing their own research, than it is to answer the same question 500 times a week.

Yes, we're 'jerks' (ass holes would be a better name, but jerk works just fine), and our social skills are far from 0. (If they were 0, we would never have posted, would we?)

As for the "rep isn't a constructive way of measuring anything", it is, and it isn't. So I'll 1/2 agree with you there. Rep shows how much you've contributed to the community (in most cases), and most of the time it is a showing a 'measuring' of something. (I.E: Most model editors are incredibly good in their field, which is where they get their rep from, Cypher's area is memory editing, and programming, which is where most of his rep comes from.)

Bossqwerty; Look at any post Cypher has replied to where the person has done their research first, or attempted to do something and is just plain stuck. You'll never see a bullshit post from Cypher. (Maybe a joke or two) If you don't know Cypher, or kynox, or me, you'll think we're ass holes. Once you know us, you'll see otherwise, and you'll act just the same. (We don't get paid to field stupid questions all day.)

Look at all the posts that have total bullshit or flaming answers from Cypher. Has any of them read any threads in this section? Done 2 minutes of research? No. Hence, they are made fun of for being lazy, or stupid. (We rarely make fun of the newcomers, so long as they show initiative.)

Take your head out of your ass before you post again.

P.S: Bashing on pokemon, or telling Cypher to go watch more of it, etc, is not offensive. Pokemon is a joke, hence why many people use it in joking ways.

How does that make any sense? Just because someones social skills fail does not mean they don't try.

I originally used the term ass holes, but apparently using it without a space is filtered, and the last thing I need is more infraction points. I will admit that there are a few posts made where such a ridiculous questions are asked that being an ass hole is almost warranted. Notice I said "almost."

I'm sorry, but no matter how well I know you, there is no justification for the way you (maybe not you, but Cypher) treat other members here. So unless you somehow brainwash me into thinking that because I know more about something than another person, I am therefore better than them, then no, I will not see otherwise.

Maybe you should just stop answering the questions that are asked so many times instead of belittling people? Oh, that's right, you guys are pretentious ass holes.

P.S: Bashing on pokemon, or telling Cypher to go watch more of it, etc, is not offensive. Pokemon is a joke, hence why many people use it in joking ways.
Did you ever think that maybe, just maybe, this is why I make fun of him for it?

Sure, we could not answer any questions. That would probably be the easiest route. But we are being helpful by pointing out the fact that you're not doing anything to help yourself in the first place. Answering stupid questions, or repetitive questions via telling people to do their own work, or read the threads around here, etc, is the best piece of advice you can give them. (You'll never learn if you never try. Spoon feeding is a very, very bad thing in most cases. Especially when it's memory editing.)

I apologize, I should have worded my statement about 'knowing' someone a little better. Knowing more about what they do, would be the better statement. And 99% of the things said here are justified. (Otherwise the threads would be closed/deleted and people would have many more infractions than they do.) Nobody here claims to be better than another, (though others claim others to be better than others... if that makes sense to you). We've all started somewhere, and we all understand that. If you think you can just dive right into the field of memory editing with no knowledge of programming, or how memory/asm works, you've got the wrong idea. The people here are fairly tight-knit, and help eachother out quite a bit, because they've shown they know what they're talking about. (Ask Cypher, or any of the open-bot devs how I am with new people, and people who have shown they understand what they're doing.)

P.S: The badword filters are easily passed. (Ass hole, etc) Mods usually won't do anything about it unless it's a total flame-fest post. They're fairly lenient.

If you sincerely pointed out the fact that they are doing nothing to help themselves, then yes, I would consider that to be a lot more helpful. I agree with you 100% on that first paragraph, but what you're implying takes place is simply nowhere near representative of the reality. Show me ONE post where Cypher tells a user to do a little more research without being a complete and utter ass hole. Do you really believe making someone feel like dirt is an effective method of assistance? Try applying that logic to any other situation in which somebody is asking for help, it's just stupid.

It's funny you mention the fact that because threads are not deleted or closed, and infraction points are not given, that what is said is somehow justified. I was given infraction points by Kurios for simply calling someone a moron, much like you guys do numerous times daily, the double standards here are unbelievable. You guys can say whatever you want, we can't.

Of course no one straight up comes out and says they're better than someone else, but that does not mean the implications aren't clear as day.

I don't expect you to be able to look at this objectively, after all, you're friends with Cypher.

Edit: I just noticed your signature, that one line pretty much sums up my view of Cypher and the rest of you guys. Pretentious ass holes. It baffles me that you can come in here and act like you're the good guys, and just trying to help people, when you post toting that as a signature. That one line may be a joke or something, but it defines you well.

FYI, Cypher got most of his ass hole nature from me. (Weird eh?)

Think about it this way, if we told you "You need to read x y and z." Just like that. Would you actually read it before coming back asking stupid questions? Or would you actually read it, and attempt to understand it, if you knew you would be flamed for being lazy again.

I apply the "be an ass hole until they help themselves first" logic more often than you think. My techs (I own a car shop, mechanics are techs) see me do this quite often. (Though not at customers, since.. well.. you should know why) If they ask me stupid, or repetitive questions, I give them a complete bullshit answer and make fun of them. They very rarely come asking questions like that again, and they do less than 5 minutes of research to find the answer. They remember it much better that way. And I've never had a problem with any of my techs. (With the exception of being utterly rude to customers, stealing, etc.)

If you notice, I help people a lot more in the 'beginner' areas of the site. (Check the programming sections.) However, in the more advanced areas, I'm an ass hole. As well as most others. If you're here, you should have learned how to do what you're asking to do. I'm very lenient actually. But when it comes to more advanced topics (such as memory editing), you'll see quite the opposite. Same goes for Cypher, kynox, Shynd, etc.

None of us get paid to help you, nor do we have an obligation to help you. If we want to be 'pretentious ass holes' we can. If we want to help, we can. Which we do more often than not. (Maybe just not where you see it.)

My signature is a joke, and the truth at the same time. Having learned, and programmed in VB/VB.NET, I can accurately say it takes nearly no skill to use. (Which is why I prefer C/C++ and C#, as it's not that it's easier to use (though it is because of the syntax), but because it has much more functionality than VB/VB.NET)

Edit: Here's a post that pretty much explains what I'm trying to say. (I forgot I posted this a while back on the OB forums.) It's pretty oriented to the IS/OB community, but it applies here as well.
