No it does not, the only thing that changes is here is the introduction of using a new variable, the playerBase. We are reading from that address. As far as I know, reading memory out of WoW is allowed (example: G15 keyboard) but writing to isn't.

I believe that address is also being written to. Thus being detectable and banable. Still haven't gotten banned for it though.
