Youre free to quote me on that early post though.
If you were blizzard would you be trying to detect a fishbot by looking at the source?
1. EXE Name
2. Icon
3. Original File Name (since its .NET C#)
4. MD5 sum of EXE
5. Position and text of windows form elements (impossible to block without putting wow in a jobobject and denying it access to those) - or writing the bot in java with Swing UI or I think Qt would work - or Electron
X. ...
Many options exist, block the obvious first :P, regarding quoting you on the earlier post - its kinda hard to do since the original post was edited, but its also easy to know it just detects mouse cursor icon change exactly like fishbot.net.

The first night I ran it, it ran flawlessly four hours. When I run it now, it seems to crash after a couple hours. Is there any chance for a logging method to try and isolate the issue? I made sure it wasn't the run time/cast limit set too low. Any other things to check in the meantime?

What do you mean slips off? If youre cursor remains as a hook its just gonna go forever.
I mean, if it finds the bobber it should full well not slip off the bobber lol.. It must be some setting, try to just run the program out of the box.
Not easy to explain but here goes.
I start the the bot. the cursor scans then finds the bobber.
Cursor changes to a hook scans the bobber then moves off the bobber and turns back into a cursor and misses the fish. then Repeat
I have tried all the settings but doesnt seem to make a difference.
How can I slow down the cursor once it locates the bobber and wait for splash before attempting to hook?
Is that explained ok?
Cheers

Hello there
I tried your bot yesterday evening for 20mins and after i got the angles and settings setfor my PC it worked perfectly
Great work thy friend please keep it up.
To borrow some details from another post but still applies to this bot :
- randomize process name/window title, Blizzard is checking these constantly.
-random delay between casts
_press some other keys between casting to simuate human behavior.
I have also heard this from another post -
"Just an idea to make ANY non-injection bot 100% safe. Run wow under windows user with zero rights and run bot under admin. Basically windows won't allow warden to scan admin users processes."
Is this true ? if so itcould be worth recommending in your root post.

That's exactly how the bot works, it moves the cursor right below the bobber so that when a fish is caught the bobber moves back and changes the cursor when doing so, this triggers the bot the catch the fish. Don't touch anything. If the bobber moves but the cursor doesn't change/the bot doesn't detect it you could try change the settings (offset pixel etc...)
There is an image in "icons" folder called splashDetection.jpg to explain it to you.

After the 1.0.2. version worked PERFECTLY without any failure for me, the bot seems to miss a lot of catches now. IDK what happend. I replaced my full hd monitor with a 27" 4k - could this have an influence? The bot didnt even recognize the bobber at all. Then changed back to my full hd laptop display and he worked, but he didnt recognized the splash animation.
Can I download the 1.0.2. again ?

First off, thank you for making this amazing Fishing Bot! I sadly am having some issues that I can't seem to get resolved. For the life of me, I cannot get it to detect my fishing bobber regardless of the amount of settings I tweak, etc (it just goes past the bobber over and over, I have even slowed down the settings as much as possible, etc). I would absolutely love to get this to work, but sadly I can't get past the first step of it even detecting my bobber. Thank you for any help or information you can provide!

Of course I would try to look at the source :P. If you know the design interior of a lock wouldn't it be significantly easier to create a key?
I'm just doing my best, it doesn't cost me any time to obfuscate it and I am pretty sure the users loses nothing on it. It's a win/win.
1. User can change the name themselves
2. Do you mean the Icon on the Window or the Icon on the exe? Would they really ban someone for having an application with a clownfish as icon. Perhaps. Maybe its better to remove it. The resources are encrypted on compilation though if that is what you mean.
3. Yeeeeeeee about this.. I actually dont know how or what to do here. Is there really a way to randomize this?
4. Will look into this.
About the quote, I was just messing with you. You were most likely thinking of the other fishing bot, I am not confident enough in my coding style so I have a habit of never giving out my source code, ever.

There will be, soon. Sorry for the issues.

You can slow it down with the trackbar in settings.
As somebody else said, youre not supposed to touch the mouse at all when starting the bot.

Very nice, there is a random delay between the casts already, the amount of time you wait for the loot.
Randomizing title is easy. For now if you want a different process name just change the exe name to something common like Svchost.
Its probably true to some extent. WoW should not be run as admin, the bot is up to you.

Its your screen. Change to 1920x1080 when you want to bot.
I think it has to do with the huge amount of pixels and the low fps that comes with it that bugs out the bot, I cant tell since I dont have a 4k screen to debug on. I made it % based specifically so it would work on any resolution, turns out it didnt work well.

Usually I would say your icon is different and theres nothing you can do about it but now you can! Theres a button with a hook on it, press on it and generate your own hook. The bot should work properly if you follow the instructions.

Yes, it is true. But I'm not an .net programmer, so basically we need someone with windows api knowledge to write a guide how to create extremely limited user, because as far as I know windows allows any process to have some kind of access to any other process (I might be wrong).
