Just filter the Ephemeral Crystal with a sound when it loads and pray you get to all of them faster than everyone else.

Might just be me, but on the cirrent version, the things drawn on screen by sonar take a LONG time to go away.

Ex: im using Sonar to track ancient mana pickups in suramar. after i pick up the object containing ancient mana, the icon and line sonar draws on screen remain on screen for a good while. basically untill i go out of range of where the object would have been.

Perhaps Blizzard did something to keep them up until more people loot them, like they do with herbs. I think after the first person loots it, it stays up for a minute or so before it despawns.

Yep. Blizzard has made it so multiple people can gather one ancient mana spawn. The Twilight Vineyards is now not such a rat-race.

Yes, when I actually have time to work on this I'm thinking of switching to OpenGL which should improve rendering performance and not have such a huge impact on your FPS. I personally don't have this problem but my friend reports that it tanks his FPS as well.

Yep it is, got it this morning. However finding it with name alone is not enough, it wont show anything. You'll need to fill in the id's of all 5 seperate crystals.
You can find all 5 diffrent ones on wowhead.

Stealth players are stored on blizzard's server side. This merely intercepts clientside data and parses it with some really really fancy math.
