I can confirm the existence of this. And it is very, very soon.
It will be reborn.

ProbablyEngine - Developer and Lead Support
A Powerful Rotation Bot: ProbablyEngine
It's a good news.
Just be "patient" is all we are saying. Soon enough we will be releasing the add-on on our new site.
Phreak is it the same scripting style language as PE?
^^ I do hope so it was definitely easy to understand especially when making your own profiles. Also I hope LoS is added into it.![]()
PE was just a lua-based rotation manager addon + simple lua unlocker (without protection and easy detectable, seen a code).
whats new?
Yes, the Lua based profiles will be made the extact same way as before. However, we will not be hosting the protected functions Lua unlockers on our site. Care has been taken to allow 3rd party Lua unlockers on the market that have Warden protection built into them, like: Fire Hack, Osprey, etc.
What is new? The core add-on has been updated for WoD, 3rd party Lua unlockers can be used, a new settings UI is being added to interact with the variables.
Nice, can't wait to update my boomkin and resto Druid profiles for everyone...
this makes me so... happy. trying to put together even a simple HB rotation is a nightmare.
Sweet not i'll just have to do light editing on my profiles and i'm good to go![]()
Not sure.. The addon itself isn't detectable, the LUA unlocker that was used at the time was detectable. The addon can continue to be used securely, though I don't know why said "team" would focus their efforts on updating(not that this is diffucult) and maintaining such a limited engine. I personally found it inferior to most. PE will need a lot of work, to include an unlocker to keep up with today's capabilities. As of current, nor PE, PQR or any others(other than HB, myself and 1 or 2 others I'm unaware of) support non-combat log tracked LOS checks, object managers, capabilities to cast on a units location(as well as casting on nearest unit to said enemy if it is a blacklist unit like one sitting on the edge of a cliff). Additionally, PE is a LUA based, DSL executed "rotation manager". LUA is fine, but running it through DSL is essentially the Achilles heel of this, and its excess(some may consider this an abundance) of bloat that does nothing more than slow it down.
I see the same group of people claiming to "recover" this project that left the public in the dark (possibly-engine, really?) and jumped ship when shit hit the fan back in Feb, the program isn't being "Reborn" you're just updating it in its current form to function with 6.0, which will only require modification of a select few functions and new GUID pointing.
I will, however, provide all docs over to this PE "team" from my old Soapbox Rotations which is a version of PE modified by phelps, myself and others that provides some of the support I have listed above, keeping in mind it is ran through DSL so is limited in nature.

PE has been available through the entirety of my business, Its the peoples decision which they choose to play for their needs, I could care less in that regard. Why would i provide all of my old docs anyways? I was just one of those individuals that was listening to this "Probably/Possibly Engine" group of individuals who failed to produce before, now claiming they will. Everything about PE, to include all of that drama that surrounded its end, needs to just let things rest where they are in my humble opinion. But to each their own.
My view is that the downfall of original PE acted as a springboard for a few other projects to get off the ground. When one door closes, so must another open and ultimately, diversity in any community is a good thing to have.
Perhaps I am just not understanding some part of this that people mean when they say 'drama'.
I for one am looking forward to seeing what it develops in too... and if it doesn't get off the ground, no big deal, as there are other projects on the horizon.
