So i received my ban mail 72 hour wedesday at 20:50 but it still says locked i am now more then 72 hours further in time.

my account also still shows me as banned, however i can log into the game just fine...

When you create a battlenet account now theres 3 conditions you have to accept... 1 of them is a anti cheating agreement and this is what it says...

In an effort to combat the efforts of those individuals who are willing to violate the EULA and/or the TOU, Blizzard Entertainment utilizes an "anti-cheating" utility that runs as part of Blizzard Games. This "anti-cheating" utility performs limited scans of:
"the Windows Process List to determine if any confirmed hacking or cheating programs are presently open in violation of the Blizzard Games Terms of Use"

So they are scanning our windows process list on our PC's to look for certain programs that they don't like. I don't think that is legal but who knows.

It is my understanding that they do not scan outside of the WoW.exe process. If something gets injected is the only way of them finding bots out.

you are. If you have cheat engine up while trying to start wow (not even injected) it won't start.

opening ticket

my account was perma banned i understand why but i have no choice as im missing 6 fingers due to a work related incident (im a butcher) and i am unable to raid properly and no one would have takein me due to the fact my dps would have been horrable with out the use of that program. i am willing to take my account down to the 72-1 week ban i am fine with that i am understanding with why i shouldent have used it but still i would have never been able to see the content witch i had payed for with out the use of it.
thank you =) i request a proper responce not just a autmated awnser that is the least i ask for. if you would like to see a photo as proof i am able to sent one if you do not belive me i have a photo of when it happend . thank you once more

well im done with wow anyway this is just the iceing on the cake for me im fine with the ban as i have been trying to quit for a while but not even dignifying me with a proper response is it

Weird thing happened, been checking on my account with the mobile app to see when my suspension is going to be over but I still seem to be locked. Just checked the forum (wow) and it looks like I got another 72h ban without even ever logging into the game ( physically impossible as the suspension was the perfect opportunity to finally send my laptop for a service)

Just throwing this out.
72 hours suspension could just mean that they are still investigating your account and determining appropriate action so don't be shocked if 72hours turns into perma.

first time banned huh? just open wow.exe and login normally, when you login your account status will be updated.

careful calling out others as wrong when you have no clue.

that's scan.dll at work, not warden or detection. you can never be banned or actioned from scan.dll. it simply doesnt let you start wow and gives a warning message. it does not send any info to blizzard. in fact you can just delete scan.dll, replace it and scan.dll.new with dummy read-only files, and the warnings are gone forever.

if someone then ATTACHES cheat engine to wow and logs in, they WILL be banned - because warden scans for it. again, thats after specifically attaching to wow.exe

two separate things. the warden, and any other detection method that bans accounts, does not scan outside of wow process, and of story.

So, I have always hacked blizzard games. I know the risk, and honestly do not mind it. I enjoyed the rotation bots while we had them.

Things to think about (As I am one of the people with many accounts, several got banned)

Mounts- Are across accounts now. So I lost no mounts.
Pets- Same as above.
Items- Lost a few haunted memento's, and a couple other random items that where worth a bit. As for "current" gear.. its just that "current" with WoD right around the corner (a free 90 will be there and I assume basic gear for it).

So I will use this time, for low lvl BG's, to replenish all my BoA's. I will continue to HB on a account to re-gain a gold surplus. And all is well, GJ blizz they have not got me on a ban since the 2008 ban's.

As for relevant info on the ban.

Lost 7 accounts, All perma banned, all US.

Used PQR/PQI and PE (PE very minimally) but PQR almost exclusively since release. I used many many many profiles, and interrupts. I PvP'd recently most, but i also PvE'd.

I DID NOT-
post pics on sites,
talk about PQR or any mod in game,
load beta profiles on main account,
or share any private downloads of PQR or any of its profiles.


With WoD right around the corner you know at least 75% of people will one day find their way back playing, you did not lose that much honestly, its a game, w/e.


Thanks to all the mods, profile creators and enthusiast who contributed to PQR/PE and I hope you realize this is the game we play, continue with your head held high, build better stronger mods, and get a larger stronger community backing.


TLDR- You bot, you deal with bans, it was not bad, move on, hugs.
