setting up Openbot , noob friendly

Might help if you tell us what the error is. Is it WoW error, or a Innerspace crash error? Does WoW close? If not, does anything show up in the IS console?

the bot is pretty nice but is it possible to make it like stack the motes and such, because i mine doesnt lol using 2.5 openbot btw

I believe that there is a post about this on the OpenBot forums; it's my understanding that it waits to collect 10 motes and then makes them into a Primal. Some people have reported an issue with this when using OBG, but I can't confirm that.

In the middle of WoW it comes up a little window with a cross in it, and wow stand still, and when i closed wow there is a wow error report there to.

I must be retarded, every post i have read says i am. but i have no where else to go really, cept the OB site itself, i get the nill.iss file crap. i reloaded openbot 2.5 5 times, i even kept deleting it, and installing each of the old versions. its like step 3, "run openbot/openbot" i really dont see how i could be screwing this up.

Totally fixed it, turns out, the the files you install, warden and wow, were not up to date, so they couldnt figure out what class i was. simply waited, and found an up-to-date version, and all is well!!! PS..... ive been on openbot for like 10 minutes, and its the SHIZZNITE

Hey, I'm rather new to OB but I've read every guide/review posted out there although I'm not too sure this is working as intended, I mean, I've mapped the entire Hellfire Peninsula yet when I set up the bot it runs straight to the same spot and starts killing birds and constantly dies/runs back to it and never gets anything done.

Any advice/tips/suggestions would be highly appreciated

Well, there are a few things to be certain of.

Have you created a Location Set? Have you added Hotspots to that Location Set? Is the Location Set checked as 'active'? Have you added a custom routine to OpenBot (highly recommended)? If so, have you looked inside of the Routine's "Class Configuration" menu (if it has one)?

There are a whole host of things that can affect OpenBot's ability to run correctly, but it should work fairly well if you've followed Fluffster's video instructions carefully. Ensure that you're getting a decent framerate: launch the game in a minimal resolution, with fairly low graphics settings. Once you're sure that OpenBot is pathing correctly, you can disable Video Rendering to free up some more memory.

I still think this (http://www.open-bot.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=611) guide is a fantastic introduction to OpenBot, in case you didn't catch something going on in Fluffster's Google Video.

I've finally properly set up the locations, hotspots and mapped a ton of places on hellfire peninsula, although something is worrying me, the bot is dying way TOO much. Right now out of 25 kills it has 10 deaths, that's too high isn't it? I'm using the default routine for a feral druid, I've tried others that I found on the forum but the default one seems the best.

Any ideas?

Get Ritz' 5.1 druid routine, make sure to set the settings to what you want (at the top of the .iss file, it doesn't have a GUI), its much better than whatever came with 2.5. Also, make you're killing stuff a bit lower level than you, and there's not groups of mobs, etc etc that would get the bot to go suicide on something.

Also remember in Hellfire there's the wandering elite guy that'll squash you, some of your deaths might be attributed to him.

The OB site is broked.

Also, this is EXTREMELY frustrating, I've mapped an area 3 times now, and EVERY time, they don't save (I close openbot and it says it's saving but it never does).
