The tutorial was great. For the people out there like me, I didn't realize that innerspace had so much setting up to do.

Should have read more, but easily figured out. Took about an hour for me to get openbot running, and it is going great.

And for all the people who recommended Legion hold in shadowmoon.. that roaming elite is a menace =)

I've just noticed that half of the time the bot doesn't loot and half of it, it does loot dead mobs, I've had the setting to loot it on, anyone have any idea why this might be happening? Any configuration I might have missed?

Very very in depth description of the problem you're having Novus.

Usually that's due to the routine, or the bot seeing it has possible aggro. It will not loot if it thinks it'll cause aggro. If you move far enough away, it won't even see the mob as a loot target.

try setting ur pull bailout timer a little higher m8, that did the trick for me

Thanks for the guide and links, totally new to this and got it set up and running within an hour with only a few minor teething problems.

I've sinced noticed though that my maps haven't been saving when I log out. I've been logging out properly and believe the issue is being caused by my folder in the scripts folcer being "Read only". Seems a pretty obvious problem and easy to fix .... you'd think .... but I've gone into the setting about 20 times now and clicked off Read only just for it to come back every time I go back to look at it!

I realise this is probably a problem with something on my Windows settings more than Openbot but just wondered if anyone could help me out. Tried getting on the OB site but it looks to still be down

Hopefully I'll get it figured out myself anyway but just in case thought I'd ask if anyone of you guys had any ideas

Yeah thats my problem it keeps reverting to read only even though I have repeatedly turned it off. Not sure why

I did have that drive compressed don't know if thats got anything to do with it

Sorted the problem, seems to be a bit of a Windows bug ... surprise surprise
