they only ban WOW ACCOUNT, not battle.net. That why they got manage account when you logged into wow. If you have 4 account attached to one battle.net, one account banned, other fine then you still can playing with other, but not the banned one

2 accounts, 1 battlenet... what will they ban?

AFAIK they only ban B.net accounts when they also report you to the police, like when you're trying to get freaky with little kids

    This is coming from experience.
    You are 100% wrong.
I just got banned for using a bot to click auto click(stupidity on my part how i did it) They banned 1 of the 4 accounts associated with that battle.net account.
I was still able to play on the others.
Here is the catch though.. If you were to bot and use the other account to assist the bot account in any way(moving gold/items around), they can ban them both.
    Typically they dont do it.

We have 2 GMs in our Guild (EU) - Both said:
Only the Account which was botting gets banned. They will NEVER ban a Battle.net Account or any other WoW Accounts with same IP/Name/etc., NEVER, because you're able to have other games on your battle.net Account and you could live with friends together, who joins to WoW with the same IP etc...

Everyone who says they ban more than the offensive account is lying, trolling or stupid.

Blizzard addressed this issue multiple times in discussion, most importantly when SC2 was being released.

If you have 2 WOW accounts and a SC2 account on the same Bnet, and get perm banned on WOW1, WOW2 and your SC2 account are fine.

Same if you had 2 WOW accounts on the same Bnet and one gets banned or you had 2 SC2 accounts, they won't action other accounts on a Bnet just because they are linked.

They only ban the account botting. I just requested to have my banned account removed from my battle.net and this was the response. They didn't even bother to look at the other accounts.

    Hello,

Per your request, we have removed the World of Warcraft account **** from the Battle.net account ****. You will notice the unwanted account was removed the next time you log into the game or into Battle.net Account Management.

Please note that while we are happy to accommodate your request for the removal of this account, these types of account removals are granted on a case by case basis and we may not be able to make this exception again in the future.

If you have additional questions or concerns, please reply to this email. If you would rather speak a representative directly, please contact Account & Technical Services. Our contact information can be found at Blizzard Support.

    No always true.
Blizzard will ban the account you botted with and any other accounts, that have gained from the botted account. any interaction via mail, guild bank, etc... Sometimes they don't dig deep enough but then again some Gm's do dig deep.

Ex: You bot ore>you send ore to alt> you post ore on ah> you then deposit money in guild bank> you withdrawl money from gbank with non botted acct. and buy things with it
this is bannable. Same thing goes for mailing to another account. Any interaction between a botted account and non botted account is bannable.
I have personally been banned for these things.

and have also had accounts banned that have no interaction with a botted account. When i disputed the ban i got a reply by the capslock crusader GM that said!

Blizzard can ban any account without reason! or something along that line.

I once botted and speed hacked on my main account , was banned and also had my raf account perma banned that i didnt even get to use yet.

and thats how it stayed, its a lose lose situation.

    Always remember this:

It is not a matter of if you will be banned, it just a matter of when you will be banned.
People have botted 24/7 for years and never been banned, while others have botted for a few days and have been perma banned, its all luck of the draw and how upto date/safe your bot and profiles are kept.

Do you stay low key? or do you have a Bnet account with 30 friends on it and bot 24/7? Do you bot on a toon well known on the realm? Do you bot with crap gear and never get upgrades? these are a few things to consider changing if you do.

I can't say anything about sc2 as i dont play it

So how can you move gold between the 2 accounts safely? Would you have to bring in another person not associated with the 2 accounts?

I'd really appreciate someone messaging me with an answer if you can't post it here.

Thank you very much for your time.
