What do they actually ban for?

I had an account that was going to expire with an 80 that I don't want to use anymore so I decided to do some exploiting.

I used XYZ to noclip a lot, I ported to the NE starting zone, GM Island, Hyjal (though I got ported out of it again)

In BGS I ran about 10 WSG in a row where I'd use the speedhack to cap the flag 3 times and finish the game to win, I did a few AB where I'd go through the gate and 4 cap before anyone could get to a flag.

Not being subtle I checked the account's email a few days later and there was the account action.

A suspension for 3 days.

I realise that they probably only ban on automation/exploits for PVE content, but isn't it sad that they catch someone flagrantly exploiting and don't even ban them?

there a company, you pay them each month thats all they care about, sure u exploited but to them ure just a $ sign, so they will only ban you if u keep exploiting.

Don't they permaban you for botting the first time though? So you can exploit a shitload of BGs until you get caught, but then you won't even be banned?

first time botting afaik is a temp ban, maybe if you are ****ing the economy up by posting 100s of eternals and stuff otherwise..

They ban for.
Hacking,
Asking gm's for things you donnot need to,
and other kind of things

They will ban you from other players complaining. And will give you a warning first time. lol i got 5 warning for Pvp botting before getting a 1day ban.

Scamming, exploiting PvE / PvP scenarios...those are the only two that I know they outright ban for.

Well I tried:

Hi there, I'd like to contest the ban issued to this username (***).
Over the last day I used easily available hacks to teleport to a variety of
places, the most notable being 'GM Island' on the character '***' on the
*** server, this should be easily found in the logs. I also used a
hack to move through walls and to the top of buildings. Finally I used a
speedhack not only in battlegrounds but in the game world. This can be
confirmed in the game logs when I was in Wintergrasp and Dalaran before I
was removed from the game.

I believe these actions should warrant a permenant ban, not a three day
suspension. I would like this reevaluated please.
