RwBot - Real WoW Botting Guide/Review

Hey folks,

Todays update includes fixes to the bugs that we've experienced while running some of the Pirox profiles.
We've fixed bugs mainly related to the Vendor-path support and mounting/dismounting according to the profile.

I play on a 2.4.3 private server and the bot didn't seem to work any thoughts on why and how to solve it?

2.8x Update Info:
+ fixed issues with mounting-up under heavy lag, RW would retry a couple of times before it decides to go on foot
+ fixed issues with resurection when ghost is capable of flying
+ improved ZOOMing in the Radar window
+ tweaks to the flight algorithm

this bot has something they call semi-background mode.
hm after all it works pretty well. I've been playing starcraft full-screen for a couple of hours while RW was leveling my character in the background.
It can't be minimised though. Just leave wow in a small window in the background.

+mostly: tweaked bots logic
+ RwBot would now ignore ceratin profile commands when it is dead (would not be able to execute them anyway, right?)

+ We've improved the stuck-state detecion mechanism. RwBot would be checking, not only, the result of the most recent 'MoveTo' or 'FlyTo'
operation, BUT it would take into account the whole progress during last coupl of minuts. If it seems not right, RwBot would stop.
+small tweaks to combat
+ other minor logic tweaks

Keep in mind that RW knows very well where the lure is. Knows it as well as the WoW client does ; ]
BUT it will try to click in the exact spot AND do one or two random clicks NEAR the exact location.
That comes more in handy while doing herbalism/mining when the node might be not so very well visible due to the camera position , obstacles etc.

EDIT: testing right now. it DOES some random clicks beside the exact one m, but what's the point. It cought every fish in a row of 30.

EDIT: We thought it's fine, BUT your wish is our command. From now on, RW would be doing only exact clicks when fishing. Update ETA: 20 minuts.

If anyone has not noticed yet, they are doing so f** great customer support there its amazing Bugs if any are being fixed on the fly.

This is my review of the bot.

I used pirox for three years. I had all levels of membership with lifetime (Sorry to lose that).

I spent an hour setting up this bot, and then let it run. I used a profile provided on their forum. The first two profiles would not work at all. One would fly to the start point, and then do nothing. Another would fly back and forth between two points. I finally found a profile that worked, and started it running. It was horrible.

I was leveling with a shockadin, slow leveling, but 100% safe. When playing the character, I could take on 5-6 people without even worrying about health. When I ran the bot, if it took on more then one person, it usually ended up dieing because it refused to heal when there was 2 people (Healed perfectly with just a single person). When it died, it failed to find my body. It goes about half way to the body, spams resurrect, and then decided to timeout because its "stuck".

I posted on the forum for help, and was told that I was stupid and did not set things up properly. When I posted my setup, I was told that it was working properly. I then requested a refund and was told that no refunds would be given.

I went and purchased honorbuddy. Setup took less then 10 minutes. Everything worked perfectly. So happy with honorbuddy. Would recommend that bot over this one any day.

Needly to say. This bot sucks. As a caster, it would auto attack between spell casts (wtf?) and would fail to heal properly, or find my bot. Not even usable, and the support was shit. Not happy.

Posting this here because I saw this review and purchased it instead of honorbuddy, and then realized what a bad mistake it was.

Good thing is, there is a Free Trial avaiable which you can always give a try, that's what I did and now I'm using it on every-day basis.

Their support is very good and very responsive (just take a look at their forums). There never was anything to hide.

I can't agree more with you.

I've had some trouble with this bot and received immediate support :-)
If you look through their forums you will see what I mean.

This bot is realy realy good and easy to set up. I haven't seen any unresolved issue in their forums so strange to hear someone is having any serious trouble.

We've verified the case while botting in a widescreen view and you were right , there WAS a bug
It's now fixed. We've tweaked the world to screen algorithms and verified it against most of the wow-supported resolutions and under different camera angles/zoom values etc.

it is now FIXED. Gratz again.

3 patches in the last 24 hours. I wanna see the thread where they actually did not fix the issue. Great support.

Its an early beta release however we know there are many of you who would like to get their hands on anything useful in these matters, so here it is :-)
