I'm starting to think the issue is just with sounds or something, when I start this up + wow, first thing I do is after logged in is do the control + Z @ control + X keybindings @ the corners of the minimap, than alt tab, than click the "Start Scanning" button. Completely a dud
EDIT: I just thought of something, outdated .net framework? Installing newest version now (Was apparently @ 3.5, updating to 4)
EDIT2: Nope, didn't work![]()
still doesnt work for me(
Hmm, Instead of pressing the button, try using the older version (one without UI), it won't beep when you press ctrl-z or ctrl-x, but it might work if you use the hotkey to start it (ctrl-a).
One other thing, is there a chance that WoW is moving or resizing when you are activating it again?
EDIT: Do you have AutoHotKey installed? I don't know how the compilation of that works, but that could be it? I can't see why it would do that as it makes it a standalone exe but...yea.

Yea, some others seem to be having difficulties with it as well, I'll let you know if there is any progress.

Simply starting up the original version, alt tabbing back into wow, and pressing control + a didn't seem to do anything, even though I see a blip for a nearby mailbox on minimap tracking.Hmm, Instead of pressing the button, try using the older version (one without UI), it won't beep when you press ctrl-z or ctrl-x, but it might work if you use the hotkey to start it (ctrl-a).
Not that i know of...? I run it in fullscreen, so yea.One other thing, is there a chance that WoW is moving or resizing when you are activating it again?
Never even heard of AutoHotKey before you mentioned itDo you have AutoHotKey installed? I don't know how the compilation of that works, but that could be it? I can't see why it would do that as it makes it a standalone exe but...yea.![]()
Nice work!
I had no problem getting this to work for me with all sounds just like in the video. Installed a fresh copy of autohotkey, (just to be sure) then ran spotter in fullscreen mode. Worked like a charm.
i've installed AutoHotKey, but program still doesnt work...
I really can't say what I've done any differently from anyone else on here. Autohotkey wasn't a requirement I just installed it after reading some problems from the previous users before trying to launch Spotter for the first time. Anyways, I fire up wow and log into my char, fire up spotter, go back to full screen mode in wow, set the coords for spotter (CTRL Z and X) and run (CTRL A). I get all the pc speaker sounds and all. I wish I could be more help, but I really don't know what I've done any differently!
Fallex, what OS are you using? XP, Vista, 7?
