Lord of the Rings online? I hear that hasn't been too bad as of late, and I guess D&D Online went sort of free to play a while back. I dunno about any of those obscure ones, and you're not going to get any quality out of them anyway.

Anyway I'd like to thank you, Cypher, for all the work you've done on LuaNinja thus far, even if you do continue maintaining it into the future. It was a great application that, for whatever reason, got thwarted by good 'ole 'lazy' Warden.

My experience with bans that is it is incredibly rare to get them overturned, even most legit cases wont get overturned. Expect Blizz to get hundreds if not thousands of whine mails over this wave.

From the glider wave of may 08, My friend lost his main account, he normally lives in Thailand, he had been in Australia for 6 months and only ever botted in Australia, he went back to Thailand and 6 months after the ban he contacted blizz saying he had been backpacking through Europe and got back to find his account compromised and banned, the Account support person was able to tell him that his account had been logged as being used from a different country, and he had his ban overturned, as it looked like someone in a foreign country had acquired his account info and used it for ill gotten means. I know this because it was at my house he was botting and using my glider key, and I helped him conjure the story he told blizz. I however was not successful in getting my bans overturned. He had the IP traces to back up his story.

If you admit you used the hack only for minutes and know it was wrong, they will still leave you banned, they don't have sympathy for people using hacks at all.

only other time i have gotten bans overturned was in the case of using different vpn tunnels/proxies to access wow, it looked like i was logging in from many different places within minutes of each other and looked like a shared/compromised/powerlevelled account. I was able to provide all the IP addresses that i had accessed the account from (different proxies), and they requested photo ID faxed to them (which I did with a little help of photoshop seeing as my accounts used fake information).

So i seriously doubt many, if any at all will be able to have their bans overturned. And for those that claim ignorance to knowing it was a banned action, it wont help you at all. ANYTHING you use from the bots/programs or the exploits section has the potential to get banned. And If i was in Blizz Customer service and I received a long whiney email about some person that used a hack for 5 mins and got banned, I would just laugh, possibly send some condescending reply about how we have investigated the claim and found the original action to be justified, and put a note on the account that it is NEVER to be reactivated.

The kicker for me is I recently recieved an email from blizz offering me reactivation and 7 days free gametime on my original Main account that i lost in the May 08 Glider banwave. however on attempting to claim the reactivation, I still received the message, "This account is closed and no longer available for use." So despite blizz offering me reactivation, it obviously doesn't apply to banned accounts.

Cypher, please respond to this, as i know this thread is probably going to get less and less attention from this point on due to the detection. Can we get a word on a possible 2.4.3 release? Or a source code release so that others can try to create it? A few people have been asking about it and im sure that theres more than who are asking, i posted the 2.4.3 wow.exe myself if you need it a few pages back.*

Had fun with it but with its rising popularity it prob made its way up the blizz list of things to crack down on list. After many years playing wow and with the amount of gearscore this, dps meter that it was nice for awhile to be able to ram high dps from shit geared toons down egotistical little shits mouths with little to no effort whatsoever.

For those like me after many years playing wow everything, every scenario, every trade channel joke and discussion about gear and stats in guild and wow I crit for this much and wow this guy that guy is fail blah blah blah I was 200 percent ready to just have something like this to take my main account out with a big ****ing bang!!

And I loved every minute, it was just that plain addictive. Meh if people want to or have to start from scratch they will. The main dillemma I see is being able to reproduce the results to the people whom you showed off to while it was active e.g guildmates.

I run my own small business moneys not an issue and while I am a little disapointed I didnt get more time with it than I wouldve liked (about 2 months) I am thinking of multiboxing 5 chars right back to 80 and keep 1 account completely seperate paid with gamecards and set it up with all the hacks and bots known to mankind just to get as much as I can out of blizz as I can only dream of.

Ive done my time, raided, quested, dungeons and paid every step of the way its provided plenty of enjoyment but now the gloves are off because damn if that wasnt fun so cheers cypher and look forward to your next project.

Aye. I've been using this tool since it has been released and I must say. It really made the game enjoyable again. All the posibilities this gave were truly the fact that my main account with plenty of 80's and hundreds of epics got banned, worth.

I'm up for another release of this, and even though you probably won't, I'll continue to study the possibilities of unlocking the protected lua functions.
