I was going to buy GB but then I saw how many people were raping the economy with it and that there were tonnes of people using it and along with the fact that it had 0 protection made me think that there would obviously be a ban wave.....

The current GB design is safe from the current Warden scans.

We've added a Warden monitor to GB that will kill it within 1 minute of a new Warden module appearing.

Gatherbuddy Tripwire shows the current status.

I just want to take a minute to warn my readers about Gatherbuddy.

Based on the last build i saw, Gatherbuddy injects a DLL for various reasons. Now, you’re thinking “Oh but Mr Kynox! They have anti-wardens and will tell us when there is an update!”.

Gatherbuddy can be detected without a module update, meaning their “tripwire” (which i question even exists) is completely useless. Warden only needs a tiny bit of information added into the already existing scans (via a packet) and thus setting off no alarms.

Until Gatherbuddy drop the dll, you’re even more detectable than Mimic was, before it even started to protect itself.

Gatherbuddy removed the DLL and listened to what i said.

Read my latest post, detailing that this is a side-effect of another hacks detection.

Main account banned. Never botted on it, although one was being run on another computer at another physical location by a friend. I had an alt in the same guild. That's the only connection I can see. Only thing is... His main didn't get banned? How the hell did they ban my account?

Well Ironically the gatherbuddy site is down that amuses me .On another note I guess my wow days are over ....I had a traded account used for 4 days and figured it would be ok.Used GB on meh main account then boom banned!

I have a pally account thats geared but when ya have your main toon banned with 6k achievement points plus , 19k gold that you actually made before using the bot,BiS gear ,I guess the trill is to do something new and that one time you used it you get banned lol.....my QQ post

PS: I sent blizz a QQ post or what not but since its been a Mass Ban I doubt I will get my account back even thou its been clean.

wow i was extremely close to buying this last week when pvptool was offline, went all the way to the paypal checkout page but then realized it wasn't worth the price tag

I wouldn't suggest using it for a while. It's been being detected since Aug 29th. You can blame me for getting it banned. (Via LuaFoo)

I'll send some code to the devs to fix up the detection issue.

Tbh I think the devs should just take this as a wakeup call and realize that hooking WoW in any way shape or form is extremely dangerous and without a system like ISXWarden you're just setting yourself up for the inevitable.

This is a pain just lost 3 accounts in this and one wasnt even used with GB at all and that was my main account yet it still got banned. lucky iv got a set of keys for a new account but going to try and get my main back. if you have any ideas/tips in what i can say to blizz can you pm me plz
