Crackdown on speed programs and XYZ type programs.

After recent suspension on my 3 accounts, all being 3 different reasons I have spent a couple hours with tech support and doing some research. I know for a fact that most speeder programs have been a high issue with WOTLK, most issues arising from Ores/Herbs disappearing over and over as you would go to pick them. Me being a user of a speeder from time to time I know why that was, server lag+ 200% x mount speed= Quick picking and slow server response. Ok back to the point, with all this Warden and GM's in general have been actively seeking out such cases via in game witnessing.

Have you ever noticed a sudden lag in your game for no reason, a jump in the screen or a weird reset of mobs for no reason, well think of matrix and dejavu, only this is an example of you potential/probably being watched. Is this 100% for sure, no, do I have a reference which is creditable, yes. All I want to stress is watch your backs, I have got away with botting/hacking/exploiting for 4 years using much discretion until now. I literally logged in and within 3 min of it was booted and sent an email, I was no where near anyone...except maybe a rogue/GM for anyone to see my 100% speed boost out floating in the middle of Shadowmoon but it happened and fast.

So referring back to my personal programming knowledge and networking experience I believe that Blizz has finally perfected or developed their Host to Client response timers to the point they can detect a big change in latency and FPS. IF you have tried a speeder most of them cut your FPS significantly each 100% speed you increase thus making a huge jump in Client to host information retrieving. Lag is different from active information retrieval IMO and can't be mistaken for someone with normal lag issues.

Ok enough of this babble I just hope that anyone else out there who is like me will take this advice into account before they load up those programs in the future.

    **cheers**

Ok so I average around 50-60 FPS, so lest say I have 50 FPS, I often use 700% speed hack so according to you, my fps SHOULD BE lower then 1 which of course it is never even close to. Infact i have never noticed a drop in fps while speed hacking

    1. Hugh difference in FPS? There is a number of reason why your computer can get FPS drops like third party application, antivirus/updates/installations/virus etc. 99% of all the users that gets FPS drops dosn't use any cheat so why bother to make a detection for FPS?

(All statics on internet are made up, even this one but you get my point)

    2. Hugh Latency difference? Ever heard of wireless? How many do you think is playing on a crappy wireless connection and gets hugh lag. Then blizz would flag them as possible cheater and will have to investigate those ppl.

    3. Warden detects background processes, injections into the memroy and other strange codes that is passing through your computer etc.

    4. The reason why you got suspended is becouse you can't use the exploits/hack correctly. I have been useing all kind of bots/speed/teleport/XYZ hacks for 4 years also. Never been banned, never been contacted by a GM. Alot of the bot/hacks are open source so to improve the saftey, rewrite the bot/hack add some more useless code before you compile it. It will change the hash prints and will become unique unlike you and the other users that are runnig the application raw, witch warden detects easy. Change the name of the background process to something more known like MS Paint.exe. You don't need to be a programmer or hacker to change this things and it improves the saftey of your hack/bot.

    5. Do not use famous hacks/bots, Blizz won't focus on a hack that has 300 users.

Learn from this kids dad. Don't go online and cry just becouse you got pwned. (Meltdown kid with ze keyboard cat!)

Now I dont claim by any means to be an expert but noticing the changes in my environment while playing after 4+ years of dealing with this game I can. I only throw out potentials for consideration, I would rather have an idea and send a warning then know nonetheless of a possibility and be caught.

I am all for further ideas in improving what was long held as an impervious usage of hacks, til today of course. Maybe I have held onto old school usage capabilities and need to further develop my methods to the madness. Since thedruid seems to be well versed/seasoned in it maybe you would have some advice?

Read my last post again and you will have some advice for by passning warden.

Regarding speed hacks, i can't really help you there since i haven't used speed hack in a long time. Those kind of hacks is prolly easier to detect since it can be registered by blizzard from the server side like changes in the enviorment or by passning speed rules. Using any kind of hack/bots are NEVER safe, we are just a small hacking comunity and blizzard is a hugh company with some of the best programmers in the world. The only way to beat them is to be first to find the backdoor before they close it. So keep on develop and don't stick to old school stuff or they will beat you.

Well either way you look at it, hacking is against Blizz's terms of use. I haven't been into the whole "hacking" thing for 4 years like you guys, but I have been using a few minor programs for exploring

In my personal experiences (from other games as well as WoW) as long as you're using some sort of process control program to keep wow from reading anything else.

i know what your saying navywarrior, i have seen the lag your talking about, but im 90% sure they cant view your screen because thats remote access technically and even a game cant have that kinda shit it in because its a potential exploit for hackers to spy on host computers

Warden has had a speedhack detection scan in place for months. It obviously hasn't been banning people until now.

As for the rest of your post? "wtf" doesn't cut it.

    3. Warden detects background processes, injections into the memroy and other strange codes that is passing through your computer etc.
You have no idea what you are talking about. Stop information people of false information.
