I don't see how they won this case - people still have to pay that 15$ a month even if they are botting. Greedy eh?

the premise of the case is it causes non botters to get ticked off and quit playing, and thus hurting business...
Of course, the botter QQers are the same people who flood blizz's forums daily begging for nerfs to everything and everyone thats not them, buffs for themselves, free epics, lower costs for everything in game, etc.
Je suis un tres grande pomme de terre!
I be the one who is going to ask a stupid question.
Why did glider get sued? I know all the tos in wow but...
Wut about other programs that are the same to glider?
<------ LOL
i think it is because of Copyright actually but they were also the biggest and most known bot around back then ( i think ).
MDY Agrees to Pay Blizzard $6 Million in Damages
Man it sucks to be MDY .. and they most likely didn't even make anywhere near this amount from selling this thing
Wow, how ignorant can you be? Probably should read what the lawsuit is about. It isn't about "can you use glider" (obviously not, Blizzard has every right to ban your account), rather it is about "does using glider equate to copyright infringement, punishable by large fines and jail time" (which it most certainly doesn't).
tG
who cares anymore? glider sucked and there are much better bots now.
It's not a matter of whether or not Glider was good. (Which it was)
This case will determine whether companies can go out of business because their competition adds some silly language in their EULAs. It's been stated before, think about if MS were to add some new clause to the Windows EULA that forbid you from running Firefox. If Blizzard wins this case; they'd be legally able to do so, and would possibly be able to sue not only you, but Mozilla.
This case hasn't been about a bot for a long time.
