Mmm just got a three day suspension with this O.o
Used exactly as directed, a while after performing a few restricted commands my client decides to disconnect.
I try to reconnect but it says my version of the client could not be verified, restart client, account banned (72 day suspension).
Try this again about 30 minutes later with a new trial account, same thing.
DETECTED!
*EDIT
Account Action: 72-Hour Account Suspension and Password Reset
Reason for Action: Exploitation Policy Violation - Unapproved Third Party Software

Hahaha maybe a warden update. Epic win.
If kynox isn't around I'll have a look into it, thanks for the heads up dude. Bad luck about your suspension too.
No worries mate, rather let you guys know before any one else cops a suspension or worse, a perm ban.
WARNING: This seems to be detected now, be very careful.
Wow, i'm touched. Blizzard actually updated Warden for me!
DO NOT USE THIS AT THIS TIME
Man Blizzard are all over the public forum here. They REALLY want those functions to remain blocked. And with good reason. With this taken to the levels that allows LUA addons to call the functions too, an infallible bot (amoung other things)could be made, one to rule them all. Updating warden is not enough. A whole new dawn of professional bots could born from this idea/method/program.
Kynox you really stumbled onto something big here and Blizz knows it.
I don't even think a facepalm collage will work against this post, I'm stumped.
You do realize that there have been hacks like this ever since the introduction of the protected functions, right? Heck, even ISXWoW could call protected functions.
This has been going on for yeeeeeearrrrssssssss, its not a new idea. Blizzard just refuse to hash all read-only memory for some retarded reason and just hash new offsets when a public hack pops up. Also, the function that protects LUA functions was already being checked by Warden, kynox just implemented the hack in a way that avoided the check so Blizzard responded with an updated warden.
Please tell me, because I've always wondered... Is ignorance really bliss or does it actually suck?
P.S. Your post is the equivalent of someone today saying "OMG I HAVE THE BEST IDEA!!! Lets make phones that are *huge pause* MOBILE!".
P.S.S 2004 called, they want their idea back.
Correct me if I am wrong...But to call protected LUA functions couldn’t you just call LUA_DoString from WoW's main thread and then...not really have to worry about warden...?
Seriously what the **** is your problem? I never claimed to have any idea let alone the best one. I was more or less repeating the sentiments that everyone else here did which can be summed up as "wow this little program opens up possibilities and has wide implications involving the easy creation of perfect bots, awesome." I know, shock and horror. WTF?
I don't have all knowing nor even extensive knowledge about every hack that has ever been released for WoW but I have never come across something that simply allows someone to run protected api functions and given most people's either A. Confusion or B. Enthusiasm when this topic was posted I would be willing bet most people have not seen one before either. So get off my ****ing dick and think before you flame someone. Given it's simplicity, function and the fact that Blizzard is targeting it already kind points to the idea that yeah, it could be important. But hay I suppose only people with purple names can employ logic. I wont let it happen again Mr. leet meessage board person, I'm sorry.
I never said anything was my idea here as you claim and you completely jumped the gun. Understanding the technical aspects of a game does not make one intelligent, clearly.

They didn't get hashing the hole readonly memory of WoW to work without laggs I'd guess, or maybe they don't want to destroy gamehacking at all, but want us to keep our stuff private so the community belives they're doing something, might as well be an advertising trick, new hack->people cry->blizzard adds scann->people happy
But that's all mere guessing, we'll never find out if Blizzard is just retarded or the devs have a secret fable for gamehacking *gg
I hacked 127.0.0.1
So it's my fault you lack the knowledge necessary to make an informed post? My apologies, next time you feel the urge to post call me on my cell and I'll tutor you in the necessary topics.
The most likely actual explanation would probably be performance, but even that doesn't add up, they could easily run the scans in another thread with a low priority so the impact is minimal, but really, scanning the .text and .rdata sections as a whole would not cause any noticeable performance hit to begin with so I'd assume the real reason is just that their anti-hack team is lazy.![]()
well within two hours of using this program i get a nice email -
