Is it possible to make it so that if we hover the mouse over the dots on the map, we can see the name of that item/mob ?

Very possible, just something I need to implement

I'm just thinking about the best way to do it with minimum impact on performance.

    hi,

running the program under vista, got .NETblahblah 3.5 installed.
started wow, logged on my toon and opened your program.

running fine until now, but the radar always seems to be "empty", not even my own character or other things are shown on it.

also when i want to start "tracking"... lets say everfrost chips for sons of hodir rep, the radar is still blank

any suggestions? love the programm tho

Do you get any messages like "Successfully attached to game, enabling radar"?

I stuck that in a translator and got "Not all given authorizations and groups were assigned to the Aufrufer"

Which I'm guessing means you aren't logged in as admin, is that the case?

2 Features i'd like to request, both very easy to write

    1) An option to keep the window on top

    2) When you click "Disable Radar", have a button take that ones place to "Enable Radar", with this you can also remove the "Reload" button on top of the application to get rid of the redundancy.

    1) Ok
    2) The disable button simply disables the timer, but the reload button does all the checks to make sure wow is logged in/able to be read, as well as re-enabling the timer. In other words, I could change the text on it and relocate it if that's what you wanted..

ok, here is my 2nd suggestion then with a little rework, when you click "Disable Radar", have an "Enable Radar" button come up which would just resume the timer on pressed, and scrap what i said about the reload button because i didnt take into account the extra checks it went through

Just tried this out, and the following steps are what happened (repeated each time I try):
    • Opened WoW, logged in
    • Started this .exe.
    • I get an alert with "Successfully attached to game, enabling radar"
    • I get an alert with "Error getting objects, did you zone or log out? Disabling the radar, press reload when your character is logged in"
    • Radar is completely blank
    • Object Dump tab shows a lot of information for each sub-tab, all of which seems to be correct.
    • Hitting Reload causes the same two alerts again.

    Am I missing a step?

This is a fairly nice chunk of coding! Good work and +rep, I'd also like to see .blp loading and possibly some icons, but this is really nice!

Good work and looking forward to seeing your future releases.
