Re: ISXWow > WoWGlider Guide inside...

I have been using isxwow+innerspace for about 4 months now and it is by far the best bot on the market. Glider is kids stuff compared to this powerful application.

For any mages out there i highly suggest using eqjoe's "Stand-Alone Mage Bot". I personally used it to level a a mage 1-70 on alliance and am now using it again to bot another mage and am at 35. it is by far the best mage bot i have ever used.

    Other bots include:
    WoWBot
ADH (Advanced Hunter Routine - wowbotfork)
    MageBot (wowbot fork)
    ByteBot (beta, and shakey)

Look forward to Project Requime as it is named for now. its going to be an amazing bot that can basically take you from level 1 to 70 with less than 1 hour of at-the-keyboard time.

Re: ISXWow > WoWGlider Guide inside...

yeah i'm looking forward to Project Requiem aswell, i think we'll have to wait for the .net version of ISXWow till it is officially released but i can't wait!
...also, i haven't tried WoWBot yet because i was told from several people that ByteBot is much better. I don't know what version you where referring to when you say "beta & shakey" but i have version 1.9something and it's pretty nice, only problem is with the maps sometimes i get stuck.
    whatt are the differences?

Re: ISXWow > WoWGlider Guide inside...

the ONLY way you can get cought botting with this setup is by player report and it is so hihgly customizable that you can make it look like a human. i was chatting with a friend that has been using ISXWow since november when his accounts where banned (while using glider), now he bots 6 accounts at the same time and can answer tells he receives from work through irc.... now that's something glider definetly CAN'T do!

edit: i like this text color how do i change it to my default?

EQJoe and ByteLock both did this. When you have just a few coders releasing things to the public this makes a heck of an impact. Tenshi is a full on gold digger now. He only posts thins that his bosses till let him. He works for a gold farm company,. If ne of the code has stuff to do with makin gold he deosnt release it.

Stick wit Glider, youll be glad ya did
stupidest post ive seen on here, seriously. Glider has way LESS features than innerspace. and the EQJoe and Bytleock still release stuff, so dont rip on them saying they dont do shit. who cares about what Tenshi does and doesnt release, people on here (like the mo-hack dude) dont release their private stuff, why dont you bitch at them too? leave him alone, at least he still releases stuff, I havent seen you make anything buddy.

Hazel, incredibly interesting. Could it possibly do quests? I mean accept them and then complete them. I thought I was just getting the hang of glider.

absolutely, questgivers are highlighted automatically on the minimap with a green dot. i think it would require some more extensive sripting knowledge but it's defiently possible. this bot runst you back to town to empty bags, repair, go to the inn & log out, or even fly to the next zone. all these commands can be executed with 'lavishscript' language, so it's not a "press a button and go" thing, it requires some thinking and practice.
anyway, glad i could introduce some of you to a cool new toy to play with, and thanks for the +reps

edit: just found http://www.isxwow.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=221 relating to your question JohnCoffey, apparently someone's working on it already. i'lll try it and tell you how it works if you want...

Re: ISXWow > WoWGlider Guide inside...

I heard ISX is by far better than glider, BUT requires the user to figure alot of things out... So it's not really for the average user but rather those who have a fair amount of programming experience to figure out and debug problems... Least that's what i've heard...

    Can anyone confirm?

Re: ISXWow > WoWGlider Guide inside...

.. i'll try and see what i can do about the video. it will have to be next week probably cuz i'm busy all wekend, and i do realize it's hard to explain in words, i was very skeptical too before getting it.
    her's how it works:
-after installing IS, mounting ISXWow and Warden, you can in install the actuall script (bot)
    - there are several options, i use ByteBot (also requires a separate supscription for the latest version)
the initial setup is now done
    - run IS
    - run WoW through IS
    - type command ext ISXWarden
    - log on yorur account and the toon
    - press ~ to bring up the comman prompt in-game
-type run bbot/bbot (or whatver the name of the script you chose is)
    - GUI will pop up, from there it depends on what script (bot) you are running (the most popular ones are WoWBot & ByteBot aka bbot)
    - you will setup 'roam spots' wich are ares where you want to grind
    - the bot will automatically memorize paths wich are like glider's waypoints
    - start grinding

as you can see it takes quite a bit to get started, not like glider where you can leech someone's profile and bot for 5 hourse next to someone with the same profile.
anyway, the video tutorial sounds like a good idea, sadly i have no video editing/capturig skillz but i can try

... indeed you are 100% correct, sadly i don't have those skills YET but i want to learn!

Re: ISXWow > WoWGlider Guide inside...

    bah... so all in all..

Glider is more user-friendly and the trade-off here is the program is less versitile

ISX bot is hard to use but those who CAN use it benefit from a much more versitile platform compared to Glider...

I also heard glider will soon be using alot more ISX elements.... will this mean glider will be as good as, if not better than ISX?

Re: ISXWow > WoWGlider Guide inside...

your the second person that claims to have heard that the new version of glider will have IS code in it.... i higly doubt it! everything is possible but i doubt it....
the guys @ ISXWow thogh are working hard and programming a new .net version of ISXWow, and a new botting script called Project Requiem....
then again, i'm sure you know that since you read my forums/tutorial from the links i posted in the first post on this page..... riiiiiiiiiight
