World of Warcraft Model Edit Fix by Kynox

Im a complete noob to this stuff... I downloaded it it came out as WoWMe.rar I cant extract it or anything... What do I do?

hey normally my WoWMe works perfectly but now that i downloaded the new one i am getting an error.

i stuck the first WoWMe that i downloaded from page 1 in this post into my WoW folder at the botom.
then i made a shortcut to my desktop so i can easily use it to open WoW whenever like i did with the previous WoWMe.
when i open WoWMe it says
C:\Program Filed\World of Warcraft\WoWMe.rar is not a valin win32 application
please help, thanks in advance and i will rep who helps

Move the .rar out of the WoW folder and only leave the .exe...

You can't just rename a rar into a exe. Wtf?

this would explain it. i had a different version of winrar and i couldnt open the file. im sorry for being dumb :[

didnt work for me? i got my patch to data folder, as patch-Z.MPQ, i put the wowme into my normal wow folder, i click on it, i open wow, when im at acc name password screen i click F8, i get in, then when i get on my draenei mage its just all black ...

can any1 try not clicking f8 and then getting in?? is it also all black for u? if it is that means i have a problem with my f8 button..

how can i fix this? any help = +rep

Hi , i need some help. I run to WoWME and my character is black (my screen) i switch to another character and i see him no probleme.

Hello there

Well, I downloaded a race edits package made by Merfed for a "Gnome to X race".

that's what i did :

- unziped the *.MPQ in the data folder
- changed the name to patch-x.MPQ (caps)
- unziped WoWMe.exe in the WoW folder
- launch the game with WoWMe.exe
- press F8 during the login page
- login and creat a gnome

When I chose the gnome race, the screen is black, nothing appears except menues. And when I join the game, my char model is not visible and it absolutly cant move.

I tryed Gnome male to BE male and Gnome female to troll female but nothing changes.

Is the probleme is from WoWMe or should I repport it to Merfed ?

Yeah yeah, it's what i did at last

The skin is strange xD I look's like an Iron gnome, but the model is well changed.
