I've updated my tool "Heroes Config" to support the following alpha builds (Build 29108, 29179, 29255, 29360, 29406).
I've encountered no bugs with any of the features, let me know if you find any issues.

Usage: Copy "HeroesConfig.exe" to your Heroes of the Storm folder, run it and click "Load Game", wait for the game to load and then pick your match settings and click the "Begin Match" button.

Features:
- Choose your own hero
- Choose a hero for all the AI players (option to randomize with no duplicates, or pick individually)
- Choose difficulty for all the AI players
- Change map
- Change announcer
- Change player name (might be buggy)
- Turn off Auto-buy Talents

Does it make any difference if its played from launcher?

you'll get updates over the bnet launcher and everbody can install the version himself over the launcher instead of using some mirrors.

I would prefer it. And the 'trick' will work for all future bnet client versions since it's not a binary patch

someone help me? couldnt figure out why i take this error every time i try to run the .exe from the support folder.

I'm not noticing a difference between the difficulty levels such as level 9 "Human assistance" compared to 12. The bots help out just as much either way, if I attack a camp they join me Etc.

They dont seem to do much more than assist in camps

Be careful with that, seems like a very easy way to get banned by Blizzard if you use your real Battle.Net account.

They dont seem to do much more than assist in camps

level 9 will respond to pings directly on objects. Ping a fort and the team will assemble a defense or offense. Ping a merc camp on the map and they will go to the objective even before you do.

Ping allied heroes directly and they will follow you. You can even issue fallback commands, but I'm not sure how.
