Good; they're better off without updating anyway. Hopefully HotSWin will release the updated version later today for interested dataminers, but it won't be worth it for normal people to update.

If your client is prompting you to update, exit your Battle.net launcher (don't leave this running while running an unregistered alpha, anyway, seriously, that's not smart), try renaming StormSwitcher.exe to HeroesoftheStorm.exe and running it again (without moving it, it has to be in Support folder to work), or try renaming the entire folder that your Heroes of the Storm is installed to.

Worst case scenario, you got a bad download. Download from one of the more recent links posted in this thread.

I assumed somebody would since the question has been asked several times already: Yes, it's a bad idea. Your Twitch account will be banned permanently within minutes.

Fixed Map and Hero Selection for build 29108. Nicknames don't work, but I don't care about that, so I'm done working on this for now. I just disabled the nickname field/button.

I will post a patch for the newest build if nobody else has in like 50 minutes.

.patch files aren't the easiest thing in the world to apply, but I'm not going to upload the entire 2.6 GB installation (I don't have the server hosting needed for that). Somebody with some moderate computer knowledge can apply the .patch and then upload the entire fileset if they want.

So the FIles we downloading are "BLTE" Files. Blizzard Torrent (?).

Not sure if any of you heard every of this Format, but the File Names are same as the INDEX Files.

Are you downloading files with that extension? I.e. someguid.blte?
