There are four files changed and none of them are important. Nothing is new or added at all.

The only effect is that your MapSwitcher will no longer work because the offsets changed. The tutorial trick still works fine though, so TOM or whoever will just need a new offset for the MapSwitcher.

You downloaded from Mega, right?

It's probably redownloading the entire game because you didn't get it from Blizzard and therefore your game installer never ran. The tool is probably just summing your current install size + what it sees on the server.

Still, I'm semi-curious, so let us know what the directory structure and file names for your BNTData and BNTData\darch directories are when it finishes.

Nope.

Edit: Nevermind. 4.78 GB is the exactly size on disk of the uncompressed install. It's just showing you the uncompressed file size since it compresses on the fly if it senses a partial install.

You seem to be correct. I got it from the torrent but is still 2.5.0.29049 which is what I had before. Not sure why it did that, wasn't doing that the other day.

Why would it say 4.7gb if it was only 2.4gb-ish

It's coming from Blizzard servers like they all do. It's got very minor changes and breaks TOM's MapSwitcher until new offsets are found, so I highly recommend against upgrading unless you really like Raynor and want to play the tutorial over and over to get to the practice match.

So where the heck does that zip file get saved from on mega? it literally just downloaded, showed the progress and then nothing

well i have no idea on what browser you are useing but if its firefox you can open your addon-> extention->mega and configure the download location, by default it was desktop for me

Doesn't matter where it is.

1. Open MapSwitcher.exe
2. Launch Heroes through StormSwitcher.exe in Support folder of Heroes installation
3. At login screen, alt-tab to MapSwitcher, pick map you want and hit patch.
4. Alt-tab back into Heroes, open the menu (Tab, Tab, F10) and hit "Play Tutorial".

So I'm having some troubles:
Firstly: When I open StormSwitcher.exe from the Support folder I get an error that says "An error occurred downloading data from Blizzards servers."
Secondly: I can get the login screen to show up if I open Heroes of the Storm.exe from the main folder, but then when I press patch it says "Play.exe isn't running!"
Thirdly: I found Play.exe in Versions>Base29049 but when I run that is says it can't run because "icuuc44.dll is missing"

Is there any way you can help me with this? Thank you!

Now it is outdated, so we have to know how we run the Patcher like our Friend here did.

PS: Got this Screen a few Times but not downloaded 4,75 GB (if you damage your Files, he normaly pop this Screen in order to redownload)

But if you do so, it just say "Error connecting to Blizzard Servers"


PS: In Case that someone have exp. same as CatsNimo, may can get in detail how to check for new Version / Build? May via PM!

Edit: Fixed more.

Fixed Map and Hero Selection for build 29108. Nicknames don't work, but I don't care about that, so I'm done working on this for now. I just disabled the nickname field/button.
