Also, it seems to go a bit slow, is it possible to speed things up in the settings or will the chances of getting banned be higher then?

I created a GPX file with wtracks, and it's getting stuck instead of running it. It starts up and then the console just loops around like this:

It was running fine this morning, all I changed in the config files was enabling gpx and the name of the gpx file and the start location of the gpx file.

Attached the gpx file for confirmation (added .txt to file name so it would upload).

Edit: I redid it with "Save intermediate computed altitudes?" checked, and moved my start point in config back a bit and it's running now, it caught a few pokemon, but only spun one of three poke stops that it walked past.

You can edit the config file and increase the walking speed. It's "WalkingSpeedInKilometerPerHour", increase that as much as you want, but yes, the faster you go, the more likely you are to be banned.

Sorry for the late reply. Well the problem in spinning pokestops may occur due to a number of reasons. Firstly the walking speed. Reduce it for better performance. Also check the distance from the GPX path from the pokestops

Is there an FAQ somewhere (other than the quick get-started info in the original post), including an explanation to the parameters in the config file?

In particular I am looking for answers to the following:

1. How do I make a "controlled" shut down of the bot, where I return to my default location (in the config file) and stop patrolling? If I just shut down the bot, I may be too far away when I then log in on the real Pokemon Go app on my phone and start playing, causing a soft ban.

2. What are the criteria for the "TransferWeakPokemon" and "TransferDuplicatePokemon" settings in the config file? (e.g. what is defining a "weak Pokemon" in this respect, and does "duplicate" mean just any two Pokemon of the same type, and how is then determined which one of the two is the Pokemon to keep depending on IV and CP and attacks etc.?)

3. What is the whole sniper and human walking thing, and how does it work?

4. Using the default config file in the download package for the bot, I can see that catapie, weedle, pidgey and rattata Pokemon are automatically evolved. However, this of course only happens when there is enough candy and therefore a number of these unwanted Pokemon still pile up in my inventory. Which settings to change to keep a reasonable balance? Also out of those Pokemon being evolved, I would like to keep only the very best (with high IV and CP) and have the rest automatically transferred. How to set this up in the config file?

This option is not available in config file. Look the ones existing parameters.:

I did try change "WalkingSpeedInKilometerPerHour" to 0.01, "WalkingSpeedVariant" to 0.01 and "DefaultStepLength" to 0.01. It's weird, but works.

Edit: I did try insert the parameter "DelayPokestop": 9000, but not works. Bot refuses it.

First of all, thank you so much for creating this bot for Pokemon Go.. I'm planning to donate some few bucks when salary comes in.. Keep up the good work and two thumbs up for the creator. Btw, there are few concerns/question/help that I would like to ask and here are those:

1. As seen on the uploaded photo, on the config(left), I managed to set the right amount(number) that I would like my BOT to keep.. the pokeballs, potions, revive etc..
But as you can see on the actual Bot(visualizer photo on the right) it didn't or let's say never followed my set configurations. the question is why and how will I make my bot obey the config settings?

2. The first time I logged into this BOT, it recycled ALL my Ultraballs, Greatballs, Hyper Potion, Max Potions and Max Revive. From 120+ each, turned out all zero even though my bag capacity is 650.. such a pain to see all those items recycled in just 5 seconds. So moving on, can you HELP me set my CONFIG regarding items, NOT to recycle greatballs, ultraballs and other important items on my bag? PS: I tried editing the config setting for item recycle like I placed these command on my config:

TotalAMountOfPokeballsToKeep: 0,
TotalAMountOfGreatballsToKeep: 150,
TotalAMountOfUltraballsToKeep: 150,
TotalAMountOfRazzToKeep: 100

But still, it didn't work.. the CONFIG file just keep on getting back to its original default settings for Item recycle even though I save it.. so whenever I log it in, it always transfer all the items again and again.. help please.. ?

Just one question though, can we use this bot on 1 computer multiple times but each with a diffrent account?
or in combination with other bots on the same device?

Will niantic detect this as the ip adres is the same?

Don't run more than one bot( any bot) on an IP address disregardless of different computers you are using
1 IP= 1 Bot
