Hello,

You can believe me or not, i don't care. I have this information directly from Google. You can verify and act accordingly.

1. There is currently over 700 000 accounts flagged. Less than half of them had their access permanently revoked.
2. Accounts are not deleted. So Your nickname will stay there.
3. There are 3 levels of flags. You get banned if You get all 3 marked on Your account.
4. Flags are issued on : account, device id, email and all IPs. So, if You log Your legit account on phone that had botted account, You get a flag automatically.
5. Multiple accounts are safe for now, but still get You a flag.
6. All bans are currently automated. But, reporting a nickname gives automatic flag. If You pass the check for flag 2, the flag is removed.
7. The other half of accounts have been flagged to gather more information about current botting patters, these were chosen based on performance on the fileld. Accounts that are agressively conquering multiple gyms were banned in the first place.
8. There are bots fighting bots.
9. They know You are not using an official client in seconds after first login. You get first flag then.
10. Hitting every limit and making multiple actions that breaks the limit gets you a flag. Yes, even pokemon/item limit. (try to catch many pokemon in a row with full pokemon inventory).
11. They know Your legit account names, and will ban them if You continue to violate the rules after getting bans on Your bots.
12. They can permanently block every bot access, but are not doing it by choice. You might want to think over why.

So I guess, If you buy a account you're going to get a flag anyway for IP then if you have the poke++ you get a flag and the deviceid you got banned is already one flagged.
So you can only get two flag (If you buy a account) and not get flagged?
How do you remove it? I dont understand it in the post sorry xD
And is it possible to remove any other google account on the client and make a brand new one and just use poke++ to hatch eggs and get eggs from pokestop?

I think this is a pretty good thread on the issue of what is causing bans and it reflects somewhat the thoughts that I have had on the matter. What I have been thinking is however somewhat different but still in line with this. My theory is pretty much this;

• The current method of determining if an account is cheating is not made real time by the server based on input but rather based on analysis of the accounts and its logs. This is the reason why accounts are not permanently banned immediately even when performing the most obvious cheats/exploits.
• Because the sheer number of accounts in place they cannot perform this analysis on all accounts at once. Therefore they would need some metrics to decide which accounts should be analyzed. The metrics or flags that you call them could be the ones you described. But I am not entirely sure on that, but I will elaborate later.
• Once the account is flagged it is added to a queue of accounts to be analyzed, the process from here on is automated and if the analyze finds other supporting evidence in the accounts logs it will ban the account.

Now the reason why I don't think it is not only the flags you say is because the data I have does not fully back it up. I think there are more than those three metrics. In fact I think there is probably something like 10+ values which they measure and if you pass a threshold of say 75% the account will be flagged for the automated process of a deeper analysis of the account. The metrics would include everything from exp rate, if the IP matches the location, number of temp bans, average play time/day, as well as the things you say etc.

Besides this I think you are on point with pretty much everything you say. And I guess what I am saying is more of an addition to your theory. However the only thing I can safely say is that they do not know the name of my legit account as I have only played that on my cell phone using my mobile carrier and never logged in to a botted account on that device, nor have any way of associating the gmail account used to anything botting related

I would be interested where these information are coming from. Anyway, what's definately true is that they do not ban in waves, but automatically after certain requirements are fulfiled.

If these are flags, or points or whatever, I have no idea. It also seems that if you bought coins and legitimately played to a certain level, your account gets some kind of positive credits, as my account is still healthy doing the exact same thing as another account which didn't spend real money on coins.

Sources? We haven't had real sources in weeks. Besides the bans going on. The real question is why are they continuing to let people do this? Is it safe to say they are testing parameters as well? Haha Helping them fine tune their banning machine.

I already knew they are reading this forum. My boss from a big corporation reads forums too. He even found my Facebook account.

I wish they can delete my banned account so I can reuse my nickname.

I know I already have at least 1 flag. If I buy a botted account which most likely already have 1 flag on it... The account I bought will get banned if I log on to it?

Same for me, i've re created a PTC account with same email and same name that works perfectly so this argument is invalid.

You can always have the same nickname for two accounts, one for Ptc and one for Google. However, you can't have the same nickname for two accounts if both of the accounts are Ptc or Google. Don't believe me? Ok, easy. You can have a try. Try to create a new account via Google and pick up nickname, then create another account via Ptc, you will find that you can have the same nickname as the account you created via Google. In addition, you could create another account on Google/Ptc, you will find that you couldn't have the same nickname anymore.
