That's only because botting is how you get to level 30+

Bots are easily detected by their API and how it interacts with Niantic servers. Unless somebody was able to get the source code for Niantics API and recompile it for a bot rather than just sloppy reverse engineering this will always be the first red flag. Next is using algorithm to detect action consistencies as human interactions are very random whereas bots apply actions very consistently but there's also a case to be made for movement. The game already tracks movement this is already well documented, bots move at a consistent speed going from X to Y in straight lines this is very unlike human behaviour. Lastly is softbans, the softban system was clearly their first anti-cheat test system to collect analytics to help build a dynamic system using algorithms based on user data with very tight tolerances and accuracy.

its not just boting guys. friends never onces bot all he did was gps 1mile form his house and no more then that. i don't know if it was cuz of bluestack or the gps spoof . his lv was 26. so i would not bother if your not going to walk your life out to play this game.

I created 4 account, 2 google, 2 ptc. Ptc's account was die after 1 day bot, but 2 google's account is till running.

2 accounts Banned and email received were only used for map scans
lvl 26 not botted in weeks
6 banned 30+ high CP pokemon botted and a some sniping on last 3 accounts
I have a lvl 29.5 no pokemon over 2k but has 400k stardust - Not Banned to my suprise
now I have a lvl 21 and 24 both full bots with sniping (hackemon) rotating 12hrs a day still now banned. Local areas only
and a lvl 24 (pokefarmer) 1st release after api not banned still botting.

22,24 account banned..sadly I took 2 days to reach 22 and still can get banned. Never on bot 24hrs. Only about 8hrs a day.
They have detected the NECRO bot. Once you login with it, a few days later will get ban?
